Story
Benjie is such a sweet dog. He is playful and loves his people. He cuddles, plays ball, sits, shakes, and lays. He listens to commands. We bought him on a sale due to his age at a puppy shop he was 5.5 months old at time. Less than a few weeks after we had some family emergencies that have left us in a place where we are not able to give him the time he needs daily. It has broke our hearts to have to rehome him as he is so loyal and my kids are in love with him. We have two other small dogs who are over 16 years old, blind and grumpy who won’t play with him. He plays and gets along with any dog he comes around. We are looking for someone who will love him. He seriously is a chill personality in general. He will let you hold him like baby. Loves to cuddle and is great at night in kennel. Needs more time and attention than we can give at this time. We have noticed he does have separation anxiety and tends to have accidents. I am not experienced in this so I could be wrong.

Story
Meet George, a 27-pound male Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier mix, also known as a "Whoodle." George is a goofy little puppy whose personality shines throughout the entire play group. He's very playful and high-energy with other dogs, making playtime a blast. While he can be a little shy at first with humans, once he warms up to you, he's incredibly friendly and affectionate. George is still trying to learn the ropes and would benefit from a bit of guidance as he continues to grow.Although George doesn't require another dog in his home, he would really enjoy having a playful friend with whom he can run off his energy. His spirited and joyful nature makes him a delightful companion for both play and snuggles. Are you ready to welcome this energetic and friendly pup into your life? George is eager to find his forever home where he can share his boundless energy and affection.- - - - - -Prior to being rescued, many of our dogs have experienced minimal socialization. As a result, there is often an adjustment period when learning about life as a family pet. We typically do not adopt to homes with young children. Homes with older children will be considered on an individual basis. Common skills such as house training and leash walking will often take extra time. Patience, understanding and a gentle hand are a must. The great news is, many of these dogs come around with patience and being a part of their rehabilitation is an extremely rewarding experience. Story
*Has anal gland cancer - in remission but may come back. *Must be the only dogMeet Elliot, a gentle male Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier weighing 35 pounds. Recovered from a broken jaw, he now enjoys life muzzle-free and has been diligently learning commands like "wait," "touch," and "pick up" to help him acclimate to touch and handling. Elliot has also mastered "sit," "lay," and "come," showcasing his eagerness to learn. With a laid-back demeanor, Elliot finds solace in lounging beside his favorite person, relishing in pets and massages. While he's still getting the hang of leash manners, he walks without pulling . He would need to be the only dog in your home. Elliot eagerly awaits adoption through the National Mill Dog Rescue, ready to bring joy to his future family.-------Prior to being rescued, many of our dogs have experienced minimal socialization. As a result, there is often an adjustment period when learning about life as a family pet. Because some of our dogs are very under socialized, they may not be a good fit for young children.
