Story
Introducing Niabi, the spirited whirlwind of energy and love that's bound to fill your home with laughter and joy! This energetic Whippet mix is a true crackhead foster, always ready to embrace life with boundless enthusiasm. Niabi has mastered the art of kennel training and is well on her way to conquering the potty training challenge. With regular outings, she's quick to catch on and eager to please. High energy is her middle name, and she's more than ready to soak up all the love and attention you can offer. Personal space? That's a foreign concept to Niabi - she's all about being up close and personal! When she's not showering you with affection, you'll find Niabi in the backyard, where she transforms into a blur of motion, racing around with an unstoppable energy. She's also an avid water enthusiast, always up for a splashing good time with the water hose. Niabi gets along with her housemates, though she's known to give them the once-over to size them up. Supervision ensures everyone gets along swimmingly. On a leash, she's eager but pulls with exuberance, a behavior we're working on refining.Chew toys are a must in Niabi's world - she loves them durable and entertaining. And don't be surprised if she engages in solo playtime; she knows how to keep herself entertained. Niabi is versatile when it comes to her ideal home - whether you're her sole focus or you have a furry crew to keep her company, she's adaptable and ready to make your days brighter. If you're prepared for a whirlwind of affection, fun, and boundless energy, Niabi is eagerly awaiting her forever family. Embrace the journey with this vibrant and loving companion - your heart will be forever captivated by her unique charm. Story
"What did the cricket say to the squirrel??" How would we know?? Cricket's don't TALK!! Ok, now that we have broken the ice, let me tell you all about me :) I am a strong survivor. I came from the most DISMAL situation you can imagine.... born to an unwanted mother, sickly and sad, I was dumped with her as well as one of our sisters dead bodies, like we had no meaning in this world... BUT, LOVE WON OUT!!! I was seen by a kind woman who reached out to another kind woman who reached out to a rescuer in San Antonio- 5 hours away!!! AND we were SAVED! So how is that for a rags to riches story?? It is MY story. I am a happy girl now, I have come SO FAR from the scared, skinny, starving, mangy pup I was, but I haven't reached the finish line YET!! That's where you come in... I am ready for my forever family. We are going to be a little picky, if you don't mind. I prefer a home, with heat and ac, with food and with LOVE. Older kids would be great, I can still be a little nervous with new people (who can blame me?) and I would love another calm, confident dog to help me with my energy. So, if that sounds like your home, APPLY TO ADOPT ME!!! You will not only finish my story with a huge happy ending chapter, you will be encouraging all of the kind women who took the time and energy and love that was needed to get me safe and to wonderful families!!! ADOPT.... DON'T SHOP!!! OUR LIVES DEPEND ON IT!!! Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $500 (includes transport to your area, $50 temporary fuel fee will be included)

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. DEXTER was saved and cared for by Muscat Dog Adoption, before sending him with other saved dogs to Give a Dog a Home Rescue in Sebec, Maine. They arrived in the US on 28th January 2025 and were transported to the rescue where they are settling in. DEXTER was cleared by the US canine center for diseases upon entry into the US. He is neutered, rabies, core vaccines, heartworm and tick tested negative, is on monthly preventatives, microchipped, weighs around 34 pounds and has an estimated date of birth or 16 September 2022. DEXTER's story is that he was rescued in January 2023 with his sister as young pups in a high traffic area around a lot of hotel complex's where dogs are not welcome and often shot or run over. They were taken to Muscat Dog Adoption Rescue where they were cared for until homes or transfer to another rescue was found. His sister was adopted and Dexter was lucky enough to come over to the US for his forever family to find him. Stray dogs in Oman are referred to as "Wadi Dogs" and are a mix of the popular sighthound breeds, specifically thought to be descendents of the majestic Saluki and other smaller breeds, many resembling whippets with their small agile frames. If not saved these dogs are often shot or brutally ran over and left for dead. We are looking for families that have the lifestyle that the dog needs to lead a healthy, both mentally and physically life, who can afford a GOOD quality food, toys and treats and understand the importance of veterinary wellness checks. DEXTER is available for adoption for an adoption fee of $300, as noted he is located at the rescue in Sebec, Maine and families are required to complete and submit an  adoption application and when approved schedule an appointment to come to the rescue to meet and hopefully take home this sweet boy.
