Story
Meet Momma Dawg – A Survivor Ready for Her Forever Home! Momma Dawg came to us in desperate need of an emergency C-section, exhausted and scared with a puppy stuck. She had been through so much and trusted no one—except for Jess, the young girl working at our vet’s office. Momma immediately bonded with Jess, refusing to let anyone else near her or her babies. With love and care, she made it through, though heartbreakingly, two of her little ones didn’t survive. But she fought for her remaining three boys, who grew strong and were eventually transported to their new homes in Iowa. With her puppies gone, Momma had to start her own journey—learning how to trust and love again. Slowly but surely, she let her foster family in, and now she’s a happy, healthy, loving girl, ready to find her forever home. While her foster family adores her, keeping her would mean they couldn’t continue fostering other dogs in need. So, they’re looking for the perfect home for this special girl. Momma Dawg’s Ideal Home: ✔ Age & Size: Around 1 year old, approximately 45 pounds ✔ Health & Training: Spayed, fully vetted, doggy door trained, and crate trained ✔ Personality: Energetic, smart, and eager to learn ✔ Needs: A home with other dogs or kids—no cats or chickens (her bird dog instincts are strong!) ✔ Favorite Things: Snuggles, sleeping in the recliner, and being close to her people If not for her prey drive with cats, she would likely make an amazing therapy dog! She has so much love to give and is ready to be someone’s loyal companion. Could you be the forever home she’s been waiting for? If you’re interested in adopting Momma Dawg, please reach out!

Story
Meet Luisa! Luisa came to us from the Bethany Animal Shelter as a stray. When she arrived, she was suffering from a severe case of demodex, but she’s fully healed now — you’d never even know it. At about six months old, Luisa is believed to be a lab/pointer/pittie mix. She’s good with most dogs, though there’s one in boarding she’s not too fond of. Luisa is still just a baby and hasn’t had the easiest start in life. She needs a foster home where she can learn to trust and feel safe. With some love and patience, we know she’ll blossom into an amazing companion. Our goal is to help her find that perfect forever home — but first, she needs a soft place to land. If you’re interested in fostering or adopting Luisa, please reach out. She’s ready to start her next chapter!
