Our adoption center & Spay Clinic is open by appointment with approved application. We are located at 571 NE 44th Street, the NW corner of Prospect (44th) and 6th in Oakland Park, FL. Our application is available online: www.animal-aid.com where you can also view all of our adoptable dogs and cats. The $300 donation we are requesting will help the next dog or cat in need and includes our medical program; 5-way vaccines, rabies vaccine, de-worming, blood test for heartworm and tick diseases, spay or neuter and microchip ID. March 23, 2025, 6:32 pm

Meet Swoop!!! He was surrendered to us by a backyard breeder! He is a 4 year old Xolo also known as a Mexican hairless. His tongue hangs out all the time. This breed tend to loose teeth and the tongue hangs out. He weighs 5.5 lbs and is a character like his breed tends to be. He gets along with other dogs! He is pee pee pad trained. He loves to cuddle but has some play energy also! He loves to play fetch. If interested please apply this little gem will go quickly! DOB:3/4/2021 Adoption fee includes DHPP vaccine, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate) heartworm testing, spay/neuter surgery, deworming, wellness vet visit, one month of pet insurance and microchip. All animals are examined by a veterinarian. Story
I adopted sweet Mila when she was one year old from a shelter. I was young and didn’t understand the full responsibility of owning a dog. Unfortunately I need to find her a new home due to personal reasons. She is energetic, loves to play, loves to go on walks and run around. She makes me laugh and makes even non dog lovers fall in love with her. She is a sensitive dog and when I got her she was more apprehensive of men and children. But becomes friendly after getting to know them. Some dogs she gets a long with and some she doesnt. She takes some time getting used to new people but can quickly become comfortable. She has never bit a human but does usually bark when meeting a stranger. She has gotten herself bit by other dogs due to showing fear and growling at them and other dogs she has become fast friends with. She needs structure and love and she loves to give kisses. I would like to meet in person and see if possible where she would be living. Thank you for your consideration!
