Meet Talbot! This 2-year-old Chihuahua mix is a sweet, shy guy who’s ready to find his forever home. He’s been a superstar in his foster home—completely potty trained (no accidents, even in the cold and snow!), and he’s got a good routine with his crate, though he’ll let you know when he thinks it's time to come out.
Talbot is a little reserved when meeting new people, but once he warms up, he’s all about the snuggles and ear scratches. He’s a calm and gentle soul who enjoys his quiet moments, whether it’s chewing on a favorite toy or getting a case of the zoomies. After a little excitement, he loves to curl up on the back of the couch to watch the world go by.
Though Talbot hasn’t had a formal introduction to other dogs yet, he’s shown nothing but a wagging tail and curiosity when they pop into his space—he’s likely open to making some new furry friends.

Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption.
The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Request Form prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care.
