Story
Rico is a charming 4-year-old Chihuahua mix who was adopted from us 3 years ago. He's a happy and affectionate pup, but he's discovered that he's not a fan of babies, so a new baby in the house was a huge stressor for him. Despite this, Rico is doing exceptionally well at the rescue with other dogs and is good with children 4 and up. He loves to run around and play, showing a playful side that will bring joy to any home. Rico is incredibly affectionate with his people, making him a loyal companion.Rico would thrive in a home without babies, where he can feel safe and secure. He would also benefit from having a canine companion, as he enjoys the company of other dogs.IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. Meet Saint! He’s a 4-month-old chiweenie weighing in at 8 pounds. He’s shy, but he also loves to snuggle up in the crook of your arm. He’s great with other dogs and he'd love to have a confident dog companion in his forever home. He's working hard on potty training.
