Story
Chloe is 6yrs old and 10lbs. She is a typical small bread chihuahua/ dachshund and maybe some Jack . Nervous and needy . She would be best with someone who has dealt with small breeds before. She is house trained and pee pad. She doesnt like car rides but does like walks however she is a leash puller. She is sweet andShe loves to burrow under blankets and snuggle by you!! Very sweet and likes to play twice a day with squeaky toys /ball- she is not a fan of small kids. She is crated while Im at work and loves to get under her blankets in there and will be good . In a new surrounding, she may bark when you first leave, but will eventually settle and after that, she is good. She will do play full sneezes at you when she wants to play. She does not get along with cats. She does get along with some dogs be best if you have another dog that you have experience with acclimating. I would love for her to be a companion for a single person or couple who can devote time/attention

Story
Sweet, goofy Elton is a young guy at around 1 year old. He is an adorable chihuahua mix and weighs 14 lbs. Though he's a youthful pup, he is fully house-trained!  Elton loves squeaky toys, snuggling under blankets with his humans, going on long sniff walks, and being the center of attention. Elton does not love sleeping in a crate or sharing his favorite human with other dogs. For this reason, he should be the only doggie of the home.  Elton brings joy to his foster family and makes them laugh every day. He is an all-around good boy, who is waiting for his forever family. Could that be you?  For more photos of this darling boy, please visit https://imageevent.com/newrattitude/elton .  Beginning March 1, 2025, our adoption fee is $250 for adult dogs or $300 for puppies under 6 months old. If you are interested in adopting this dog, PLEASE READ THE DETAILED ADOPTION PROCESS information on our website at www. NewRattitude.org/adopt/  From there, you can access our adoption application or contact our Adoption Team for more info. March 26, 2025, 7:03 pm

Story
Anna is a 9 year old, 10lb adorable Chug (chihuahua/pug mix) who has endured some big human turmoil recently and ended up in a Middle Tennessee shelter. Not much is known of her history, but her underweight condition indicates at least some neglect took place. A really devoted foster mom for critter.Cavalry turquoise noticed her profile in the shelter and realize that being a senior she might not be chosen very easily by the general public.  This young foster woman is making sure that Anna is gaining much needed weight slowly.  She’s starting to put on weight and enjoys her meal times-with the occasional treat of whipped cream. While she is timid at first and a little wary of quick movements, it doesn’t take long for her to warm up and become your best snuggle buddy. Anna has some spunk and can run up stairs as fast as any puppy. She seems to be good with other dogs and initiates playing, though she doesn’t know what to do with toys. She does well on a leash and going outside. She is catching on to potty training (another example of her neglected past) and we are wanting someone who works from home or is retired as she does exhibit some separation anxiety in her first week with us.  She has found the cozy comforts of warm blankets and fluffy pillows and burrows underneath.  Anna has lots of love to give and deserves  a family to spoil her.   Please email ccrtennessee@gmail.com if you are interested.  PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comFebruary 18, 2025, 12:12 pm
