Story
Ready to find the Robin to your Batman? Well look no further because Robin is the perfect fun sized side kick that you will always be able to count on. He loves a good lap to snuggle on, will sneak in kisses when you're not looking, and has a spunky playful side to him that will make you giggle for days. Meet Robin: https://youtu.be/lSH_xw7kgqc?si=kg4vpiXWXLTx6Mzh Robin is a Chihuahua mix approximately 2 years old and currently weighs about 12 lbs. He's a tiny little guy that is the perfect size for couch cuddles. Robin is a rescue dog and with any rescue, it's always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age. Robin has a heart of gold with a little bit of spice sprinkled in there that just adds to his charm. At first, Robin can seem a bit reserved - he likes to take his time getting to know people and other dogs before he shows his true colors. But once he feels comfortable, his loyalty and spunky personality shines through. It does not take long for Robin's personality to shine through either! He is a sucker for spray cheese, rice krispies LOL, and all the snacky snacks. He can't resist them. Robin is such a character with so much personality it'll be hard to not smile around him, especially when you dress him up in little outfits. He'll prance around like he's walking in the Paris fashion show strutting his stuff showing off his wardrobe. That's the fun spunky side of him that we and his foster's love about him in addition to his sweet snuggly side too. Robin loves to snuggle and sit in your lap while you watch a movie or binge your favorite tv show. Robin is dog friendly and is currently living in a home with other dogs of all sizes and does great with them. He does take some time to get to know other dogs and when he is isn't quite there yet, he will give a little growl just to let them know he wants some space but once he's comfortable you'll catch him snuggling and playing with your other dogs. His best friend in his foster home is another small dog that has a playful side to her and also enjoys those calmer relaxing moments as well. Robin loves to wrestle with her and bounce around on the bed like a little bunny rabbit. He shares treats and affection with other dogs too. Again, he just needs time to warm up and get comfortable and then he's your dog's bestie. If you don't have other dogs, that's fine too! Robin does not need the company of other dogs to keep him entertained or feel comfortable, he'll need that time to open up with or with out other dogs. Robin is also cat-friendly and could happily coexist with feline friends. He met our house cat numerous times and each time, he was avoidant and didn't bother him. This sweet boy is ready to bring love, comfort, and companionship into your life. We can see Robin living in a home with a backyard or even an apartment that is more residential rather than in the heart of downtown city environment. He walks well on a leash and is potty trained and crate trained. If you're looking for a loyal, affectionate friend who will always be by your side, Robin could be the perfect match for you! Story
**Fostered in Corvallis, OR and ready for meet and greets!** Meet Melanie Maple Bar – The Sweetest Treat! Do you love patisseries? Oui, Oui! Well then, Melanie Maple Bar is the perfect pup for you! This extra sweet girl is about 4.5 months old and has been thriving in the PNW since arriving at her foster home. We believe Melanie is a Chittie (a Chihuahua/Pittie mix—aka the ultimate Texas Special), but with rescue, it’s always a bit of a guess. She’s currently a petite 25 pounds and will likely grow to be around 35-45 pounds. With her stunning maple-red coat, big ol’ ears, and slightly wrinkly face, she’s as adorable as she is unique! Melanie is incredibly smart—she’s had only one accident since arriving and is just about 100% potty trained. Her foster mom has even taught her to ring a bell when she needs to go out! She’s fostered with a teenager (who she adores) and enjoys zooming around outside with her doggy foster sibling. Toys and bones? Yes, please! Melanie loves them all (and might destroy them, so stock up!). She also has a deep love for blankets and is great at keeping herself entertained. But don’t let that fool you—this girl is a professional lap dog who loves curling up for a nap. She’s working on her manners (learning not to jump) and will need a family committed to her continued training. If you're looking for a mix of playful, smart, and cuddly, Melanie Maple Bar is the perfect pup for you! You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend! This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW or the NE at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Story
Meet Andy Andy is an adorable Chihuahua-Corgi mix (or at least, that’s our best guess!) with a heart full of love and a deep desire for companionship. He thrives in the company of his humans and would be happiest in a home where someone is around most of the day—he’ll miss you the moment you leave! Currently living with other small dogs, Andy would do well in a home with canine friends but could also soak up all the love as your one-and-only. A yard would be a dream for him, giving him the perfect spot to bask in the sun and enjoy the fresh air. Whether in a family home or with a single adopter, Andy is ready to be someone’s loyal shadow, best friend, and constant source of comfort. If you’re looking for a pup who will adore you endlessly, Andy is the one for you! Application: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/67a3f42f40a71f0b420dc5f1 Questions? Email kristin@threelittlepittiesrescue.org We facilitate adoptions across the US through our own internal transport to ensure the quality of care. We travel to WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT and Canada (Canadian adopters will need to pick up in Bellingham, WA  or Brattleboro, VT for the eastern Canadian border)! Our pups travel in comfort with 24/7 care on our USDA licensed vehicles, including buses and cargo vans. You can join along on our private Facebook event page to follow their adventure, connecting you with other adopters and providing updates throughout their transport journey! You will get to meet your new pup over a video call before signing paperwork, creating a fun and personalized adoption experience!  The adoption fee is $900 and includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12 month heartworm preventative injectable, heartworm test and treatment if needed, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and priceless years of love and loyal companionship!  We have over 15,000 successful adoptions so far and have excellent Google Reviews: https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai We care deeply about making the perfect match between dog and family for long term success.  Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress!  Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond. Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.  The rescue’s hard costs alone (excluding transport) for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,368. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the adoption fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. Transport is a significant additional expense to the rescue.  While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that the rescue does not receive government funding and must fundraise to offset the remaining expense balance which ranges $100-1,000++ per animal on these direct costs. It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS: Extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers on our staff to ensure the perfect fit for your family  Discounts on Embark DNA test kit- $30 off of Breed ID test & $50 off of Breed ID plus Health test 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion A free private online dog training session with GoodPup, plus low pricing for future sessions  70% off of your first order of Fetch, a delicious PNW based fresh dog meatballs subscription Coupons for a fun visit to Petco 20% off of Dr. Cuddles pet first aid and hygiene solutions Discounted heartworm, flea prevention, and monthly dewormer  Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup!
