Please contact Constance (connibouchard@gmail.com) for more information about this pet.Rescued dogPlease read! If you are interested in me after reading about me, please visit my site, http://www.breederadoptions.org and follow the instructions. The majority of the dogs we rescue, mostly breeder dogs, have lived their entire lives in less-than-ideal conditions so will need to be socialized, house and leash trained. Most have never lived in a house, walked on a leash, had a treat or sat in a lap. For many of them, their feet have never touched the ground after living for years on wire until they arrive at our main facility where they are evaluated, groomed and given vet care. Most of these dogs are not socialized and need to be cornered to be picked up, so are not suitable for people with physical disabilities or suffer from PTSD. They need folks who will make them the center of their world and help them learn to trust before even attempting to train.  Please do not apply if you do not meet the requirements of the dogs we rescue.  However, they will learn with time, love, patience and most of all, commitment. You must have an ample supply of all of these to reap the rewards of watching these very special dogs become your wonderful companion. We state any known health issues, all are altered unless there is a medical reason not to, which we will advise, any known medical issues addressed, are microchipped, are UTD on all vaccines and have been checked out by at least one veterinarian, usually two. We do not guarantee the health of any of our rescued dogs. The dogs we rescue have lived with other dogs all of their lives and most get along with other dogs. We state if they are dog aggressive. We require a permanent, full-time parent. That means you must be able to spend the majority of your time with your new companion to socialize and train. We do not, under any circumstances, place them in homes with young children as they have not been exposed to children and we do not know how they will react.   Hi! My name is Larry and I am beautiful Yorkie boy weighing 8 pounds. I need an all-adult home and a small, furry sibling to play and snuggle with is a requirement.  If you have been waiting for a gorgeous Yorkie boy, please ask for me, Larry, on your application to www.breederadoptions.org. 101224-01  March 14, 2025, 7:44 pm

Story
Bella is an adorable little female Morkie (Maltese and Yorkie) She is very affectionate and loyal to her person. She is happy go lucky, loves walks and going places with her person. She’s good around everyone. She is ok with most other dogs but does best with males or would be ok as an only dog. Bella is almost 8 years old and weighs 10 lbs. according to her former owners, Bella is potty trained. Bella is a coated dog (hair grows continuously) and will need professional grooming every 6-8 weeks. Bella’s adoption fee is $450 This fee includes at least one health exam at our veterinarian while in our care, altering, all vaccinations including rabies (as permitted by age), a pre-adoption professional grooming and a microchip with lifetime membership that never will cost you a fee. All dogs also leave with a new collar and or harness and leash as well as a gift bag which includes among other things, a starter bag of the quality kibble that is being fed at the rescue. Adoption fees also allow us the ability to put funds towards the next homeless or unwanted dog in need of rescue! If you would like to be considered to for this adoption or any of our amazing rescues, please fill out the application with the help of this link. https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/AZST/Dog. We review each application carefully. Please understand that sometimes we get numerous applications for specific dogs and as a volunteer-based rescue, we do not always have the time to respond to each one. We do our best to choose the most suitable home for each dog based on their specific personality and needs. Please note you MAY NOT be contacted for up to 10 days to schedule a meet and greet if your family is the most suitable for this rescue dog. Regrettably, we do not have the manpower currently to contact all applicants. We keep ALL applications in our database so please feel free to contact us when you see another dog of interest. Story
Valentine is a darling almost 2 year old Yorkshire terrier mix. According to her former owners, she is more than 75% Yorkshire terrier, but they do not know what the remaining breed is. She is very kind and sweet and especially gentle. She was raised outdoors with her parents and siblings, but has learned how to be indoors at the Rescue . She’s starting to learn how to use the dog door to go out to potty. She’s learning how to walk on a leash. She interacts very well with the other dogs. There doesn’t seem to be anyone she doesn’t like although she does take a moment to warm up to new people. She’s learning all about how to play with toys as well. She is a little bigger than some Yorkies weighing about. Lbs. Valentine is ready for her forever home. She’s loyal and will be a best friend to her new family. Like many of our rescue dogs, we are not sure how well housetrained Valentine is. But with gentle persuasion, some consistency, structure and praise he should be easy to train. Valentine is a coated dog (hair grows continuously) and will need occasional professional grooming. Valentine s adoption fee is $450. This fee includes at least one health exam at our veterinarian while in our care, altering, all vaccinations including rabies (as permitted by age), a pre-adoption professional grooming and a microchip with lifetime membership that never will cost you a fee. Story
I melt some hearts, I bite some ankles. My name is Kai and I will charm you with my good looks and reel you in with my cuddles. I love belly rubs too! I am a special little guy, but I'm not without flaws. I am currently working on myself. I realize that I need professional behavior help and training so I require a home that will be invested in getting me the help I need. For me this looks like being the only pet and only child. I'll need you to drive me to appointments with the veterinary behaviorist once in a while and I'll need to take some medication. You'll get to watch me grow as I learn to trust and get my life in order. I don't want to be lonely and shuffled from home to home any longer so we both need to be committed to making this work. I'll need you to be understanding and I will try my best to listen, please you, and be a good boy. XoXo -Kai *Kai requires an adopter with extensive dog behavior knowledge and experience. My adoption fee is $375 and includes the following: -Spay/neuter surgery -All current vaccinations -Microchip -FREE wellness exam through VCA Animal Hospitals -$25 gift voucher from our friends at My Pet Market For more information about me or to schedule a meet and greet appointment, please complete an adoption questionnaire.
