Story
Everyone meet NOVA! Paisley was the first to engage with me out of the 8 girls & Nova was the 2nd. :) Nova is a 4-year-old, 5 lb Yorkie that came from an overpopulated hobby breeder in crisis that had passed. She has been spayed, current on her vaccines, & chipped. Most dogs in that environment are unsocialized to new people/new things & can be very unsure & timid. NOVA will need a very patient adopter that will give her time to acclimate to her new world as she may be very skittish & stand offish those first few days/weeks. Once she connects with you, she just has to be near you at all times. She can be a little vocal if she starts to miss you so condo/apartment/townhome living may not be most ideal for this precious girl. She is a flight risk so will need a home that has a secured, fenced in yard that is not metal (she is so tiny, she could actually slip right thru it) or chain link as some of the others from this group are climbers. You will also need to be mindful of doors that lead to the great outdoors (2nd barriers are highly recommended - baby gates are wonderful). She's only been on the leash a couple of times & although she froze at first, she did come to me as I called her but she has been with me for 3 weeks so she has a little connection & leash walks may take a bit of time for her to be ok on them. Interested in NOVA & feel you have what it takes to give this special girl the love & patience to teach her that that the world can be not so scary with you by her side? Definitely fill out an application to be considered. Also be sure to go to our Facebook & read/watch this post before applying: (look for the post with the red‼️) https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1Bj9vWLY2J/? Our adoption radius is 150 miles from Jacksonville, FL. All other pets in the home must be current on their vaccines, spayed/neutered & on heartworm prevention.

Story
Chance is 2 years old born Feb 10 2022. He is so loving and sweet but paranoid when it comes to loud sounds and will bark often. Listens well and understand sit/ lay down/ and treat treat of course. His favorite treats are the soft milk bone treats. He lovvveess watermelon. I wish I could keep him forever because he brings me and my children great joy. I’ve had him since he was born. But with my schedule I can’t give him all the attention he needs. And training he needs when it comes to getting along with others he does not do well with new people so it will take him time to get used to someone new I pray that I find someone who is deserving of him. Because he deserves the best. When you meet him he will bark a lot just a heads up and be afraid of you but with time and love he will grow to love you as he did with me and my kids. I will say that chance has trust issues and is not as friendly when meeting people he doesn't know he will bark constantly to show he's big when he's 100%small

Story
Danger is 13 year old Yorkie mix. He is heartworm negative, up-to-date on vaccines and monthly preventatives, and was neutered on March 7. Danger and Shotgun were surrendered to us when their person became too sick to care for them. They are not bonded and will be adopted separately. Don't let his name fool you, the devastatingly handsome Danger is as sweet as pie! While independent he will seek you out for cuddles and pets. This distinguished senior loves to be loved and will smile at you if you sweet talk him. Darling Danger is leash trained and a delight to walk. He enjoys exploring the yard or hanging out in the house. He is house and crate trained. Danger is a gentle soul despite enduring the frightening experience of being attacked by large, albeit, toothless dog. Additionally, Shotgun has been known to bully and hump Danger, who is smaller and more submissive. Danger deserves a fresh start in his new home with a darling family who adores him. Ideally with someone who is home with him most of the day to let him out to the yard or go on delightful short walks. Dearest Danger could be a solo dog or have similarly sized, friendly doggie siblings. This dearheart seems to be afraid of kitties. In his previous life, he did well with dog savvy, respectful children.
