Seveign will be 10 on March 4th. I have had him since June of 2015. He is Kennel and House trained, although he does not like to be in his kennel. His demand to go inside it is (Go To Bed) , but he gets high anxiety at first once inside. Then after a little while he relaxes and sits still and quiet. He s not a yappy dog at all. He knows to go to the door when he has to go potty and he knows how to gesture when itstime for food and water. He usually eats at 7am and again at 7pm. Pretty good dog over all. Seveign has been a great protective companion over the years. He’s very aware of his owners emotions and does well around kids , as long as he’s not being bothered while eating or caught off guard . He needs gentle play , not rough housing. He likes chew toys, and likes fetch! He loves to sleep under the bed, and enjoys basking in the sun!

Benji came to us on his final hour at animal control. Benji was owner surrendered with another dog who had already got rescued. Benji had lived outdoors all his life and had not been vetted. Benji’s hair was severely matted and tight to his skin. Benji was shaved down during his neuter surgery. Once his hair grows back out he will be beautiful. We know he has to feel much better. He will need to be regularly groomed. Benji loves people and now that he’s been completely vetted and lived inside has learned to be a great little dog. Benji walks well on a leash and is housetrained. Benji does not understand a crate and it is best he is not crated. Benji would love to be cared for and loved and would be your best friend. Benji is 15 lbs and is 6 years old. Alcovy dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on all vaccines, up to date on heart-worm preventative and flea preventative and micro-chipped. If you&#39re looking for an adorable Yorkie/Mix, Kylee is the girl for you! She is a senior girl who was sadly surrendered to a Metro Atlanta Shelter before BarkVille Dog Rescue pulled her. She weighs just 12lbs, and is the ultimate companion - she is both sweet and social! Due to her age, Kylee doesn&#39t have great vision or hearing, but she doesn&#39t let that slow her down. She is healthy otherwise, but only has 1 tooth left, so she requires soft dog food for her meals. When she&#39s not heading out for a stroll (her favorite activity!), Kylee spends most of her day snoozing and would love a comfortable lap or sofa to spend the rest of her days on! We would love to find a wonderful home for this loving and deserving girl. Kylee is spayed, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. Yes I was a holy mess, but at one time I must have been beautiful, because once I was groomed I look like a princess. I had a micro-chip, but whoever owned me let me get like this, or I was out on my own for some time. The mats were so tight all over I could hardly walk. In addition to being a holy mess, I had tumors the size of golf balls and baseballs on my body. My rescue family took care of all my medical issues and now I'm ready for my forever home. I'm so affectionate, and active. I'd love a family with older children (over 12) because I'm only about 8-10lbs. I must have a fenced yard...NON NEGOTIABLE. It doesn't have to be acreage, but large enough so I can romp around a bit. I've got a strong personality so I would be best as an only dog. I've not had any problems at rescue, but during some trials I've behaved like a bully. The shelter had my age as 11, but I act like I'm 7 or 8. If your looking for a sweet Yorkie, I'm your girl!

Kookie is a great dog. I have had her since 2010 when she was a pup. I was a college student when I first adopted Kookie. She is loving and sweet and is currently 15 yr old. Even though she is 15 she has a lot of energy and you would think she was a puppy. I am now a single mother of a 3yr and it is becoming increasingly difficulty to care for Kookie with a little one. I want Kookie to go to a loving home where she will be cared for and loved. Kookie currently has Addison's disease. She has had this for some years now. She takes a half of a pill (prednisone) every morning and has to get a percorten injection once a month at our veterinarian's office. This has helped her to live a healthy life. She also takes a liquid medication by mouth for her heart (Pimobendan) as she has aged and now needs medication to keep her heart healthy. Other than these things, Kookie is a great dog and is loyal and will snuggle up with you and be by your side. I really want a good home for her.
