Meet Elsa, a beautiful 7.5 year, 14 pound Yorkie mix girl being fostered in Kansas City, MO. Only applicants within a 50 mile radius of Kansas City will be considered. Elsa arrived in her foster home today. She came to United Yorkie Rescue as the result of her owner passing away recently. The owner's family reached out to the rescue for assistance in finding Elsa a loving home where she would receive lots of love and attention. Elsa is up to date on vaccines; heartworm negative, and a clean poop sample. The rescue will complete an initial vet visit will be completed to ensure all looks good with Elsa's health. All dogs are spayed or neutered, microchipped, Heartworm tested, and current on vaccinations and preventions prior to adoption. At the time of adoption all dogs are signed up with a unique Safe Paws QR pet ID tag, the adopter is required to maintain a monthly membership of $2.99/month for (at minimum) the first year. This helps insure your new furry family member makes his way back to you if lost. Leashes and collars are also required at the time of adoption. You are welcome to bring your own, or we have plenty to chose from at the shelter as well. Our shelter is located at 10312 East 63rd Street in Raytown, MO. We are open to meet pets Tuesday through Friday from 10-6, and on Saturday and Sunday from 10-5. We are closed on Mondays.
