Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › Jasper is a sweet senior boy who was dumped by his owner. He was checked out by a vet and fortunately, he is heartworm negative. Unfortunately, he has a grade 5 heart murmur, so Jasper remains unaltered because he can't go under anesthesia to get neutered.  You can apply to adopt our dogs at: https://www.pawfectmatch.org/info/adoptionVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 19, 2024, 10:48 am

Story
King is a 1 year old 13 pound yorkie mix. Special needs … King was rescued from an abusive hoarder and has issues trusting. It takes King a long time to get comfortable with new people then he sticks like glue. This little guy does not like to be picked up, so we do not recommend a household with children. Teens would be fine, adult household would be ideal. King is not a cuddle type or a lapdog. We are looking for that special adopter who will be patient with King and give him time to learn to trust. Letting him set the pace will help build a successful adoption relationship, but it will take some time. This dog is available and everything we know about this dog is included in the dog's description. We are only able to respond to questions once a completed application is received https://crisisdogsnc.org/dog-adoption/. We do not respond to questions about our dogs sent through email or social media. Excellent vet references and a virtual home visit required. Your prior or current dog must be on year-round heartworm prevention. We transport by land or air whenever possible. Unless there is definitive documentation our breed and age assessments are based on visual appearances.November 5, 2024, 1:27 pm

Story
Bingo Clay is a 1.5 year old, 10 lb. Yorkie mix Bingo Clay loves life! He may start off a bit shy and nervous around new people and in new situations, but he warms up quickly and just wants to be with his humans. He is a total lovebug and enjoys being held like a baby and being showered in pets! He likes taking walks around his neighborhood and is great on leash, he has also gotten along with other dogs that he meets. He likes to play with toys and explore his yard, but he is a calmer little man and more laid back. He does get the occasional "zoomies" which is so adorable to watch as he hops around the house! Bingo Clay is working on his outdoor potty training but does use pee pads inside the house. He is very smart and is learning a lot, so he will be great with a family who would like to continue his training. He is crate trained and sleeps well in his crate, although he wouldn't say no to sleeping with you! If this cutie pie has stolen your heart, apply to adopt him today! Comprehensive details are provided in the dog's description. to ensure a smooth process, please submit a completed application through our website at: http://crisisdogsnc.org/dog-adoption/. Please note that questions via email or social media channels may not receive a response without a completed application. As part of our commitment to responsible adoption practices, we require excellent veterinarian references and conduct virtual home visits. Additionally, your prior or current dog must be on year-round heartworm prevention. We provide transportation by both land and air whenever feasible. All assessments regarding breed and age are conducted by licensed veterinarians. We look forward to assisting you in finding your perfect canine companion!March 4, 2025, 2:03 pm
