Story
Nala is a great girl who knows who and what she likes. She is approx 4-5 years old and 6 lbs. She had the biggest bladder stone removed we have ever seen. A visit to the vet showed she had new stones. We have changed her diet and will monitor. She is a typical Yorkie. Stomps her feet and demands you wait on her. She is crate trained and will use a puppy pad if she can find it. She also goes to the door to go out with the other fosters. She will sleep right next to you. In order to find her a home, the rescue is willing to continue her care for the stones. The adopter would be responsible for the rest. Please reach out if you want to discuss her. Freds Mission Rescue has an adoption radius of 100 miles from Cincinnati. All dogs are fully vetted, altered, current on flea/tick/heartworm/wormer, and microchipped. The rescue does not adopt out to properties with invisible fences or tie outs. Application: https://form.jotform.com/FredsMission/app

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Benji! Benji is a charming male Yorkie who was found abandoned at a local dog park in San Antonio. Born around August 16, 2018, and weighing 14.6 pounds, Benji has a lovable side but also exhibits some snappy behavior when he’s not comfortable or doesn’t want to be handled. Despite his past challenges, Benji is a sweet and affectionate dog who just needs a bit of understanding and patience. Benji is very affectionate with those he trusts and will happily roll over to offer his belly for belly rubs, as long as you don’t attempt to correct him or administer medication. He can be wary of new people and situations, so he requires a home with an owner who understands his fearful behavior and can help him feel secure. Benji does best in a home without children and thrives with a gentle, patient touch. He enjoys playing with other dogs and has a fondness for toys. He is potty trained and walks well on a leash, making him a well-rounded companion in the right environment. Benji is fully vetted and has received a ProHeart 6 vaccine, providing heartworm prevention until February 16, 2025. His adoption fee is $400. If you’re experienced with fearful behavior and ready to offer a loving, patient home, Benji might be the perfect match for you. Apply to adopt him today at www.adoggie4you.org and give Benji the safe, loving home he needs. Welcome Benji into your life and enjoy the companionship of this sweet and special Yorkie! Benji is only available for local Texas adoption  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 19, 2024, 4:14 pm

WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Sebastian - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! Omgosh folks, we have got the cutest overload going on with this lil guy looking for a home to call his very own. I am Sebastian, and I'm around 4-5 months old and super sweet, loving and not to mention, I'm playful too! Nothing better then exploring this big ole world and playing with my siblings. I only come in at around 6lbs and should be right about the 10lb area when I get myself fully growed up. Because of my size I'd do best in a home without small kiddos. I would do great with a playful furry 'sibling' to chase around stealing...err I meant sharing toys! Although I haven't met any of those creatures y'all call a cat yet but introduced properly at my tender age I should do just fine with them too! I've got a whole bunch of love in this whittle bitty body to give. And it could be YOU that is lucky enough to be on the receiving end, you just need to fill out my adoption application!! It can be found at haydudeequine.org

Story
Meet Lilly! Lilly is a 4-month-old, 5lb, Maltese Pomeranian mix who loves to be cuddled up in your lap! Her superpowers include being extremely lovable, snuggling, and sticking right by your side. She's still unsure about walking on a leash but will get there quickly with reassurance. In terms of house training, she's currently using pee pads but I'm sure she would learn to go outside easily with some reassurance. Some of her favorite things are squeaky toys, carrying her toys around the house, and playing with other dogs her size. She loves greenie treats ! If you're looking for a companion who loves to be by your side and cuddles like a pro she might be your perfect match! Lilly is currently being fostered in the Cincinnati, Ohio area. Her adoption fee is $450.00. To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals. For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible. We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.

Story
Meet Butternut! Butternut is an adorable 4-month-old, 9 pound Maltese/Pomeranian mix. Butternut is the definition of fluffy, with beautiful pure white hair and a tail that corkscrews up over his back like a little pom-pom. Rescued from a puppy mill, Butternut didn't have the greatest start in life, but he got out when he was young enough that he doesn't show any signs of emotional or physical damage. He is playful, affectionate and loves people. At 9 pounds, he is on the larger side for a Maltipom, which are small dogs. He is being fostered with a 4-year-old female Bassett Hound, and his two puppy mill and foster companions. While in foster care, Butternut has shown to be friendly with people, children, and other dogs. He is an active puppy. He loves to run, play and romp with his puppy and dog friends in foster care. Once he tires of that, he likes to sit with his foster mom on the couch and snuggle. Butternut thinks of himself as a watch dog. If he encounters new or unknown things, he will let you know about it. But he settles down quickly once the unknown has been identified. Other than that, he is pretty quiet. Butternut is doing excellent at learning to use puppy pads and is working on his potty training. He also rides well in a car! In short, Butternut is just a sweet, affectionate, cooperative and friendly little dog that would be a great addition to most familiies. If you think you're the right family/individua to give Butternut the home he deserves, please apply today. He won't disappoint! He is fostered in Cincinnati, Ohio. His adoption fee is $450. Butternut is a Patron Pup. Patron Pups have higher adoption fees due to varying reasons and are adopted quickly, even with these higher adoption fees. They may be purebred, a highly desirable breed, small in size fully grown, etc. These fees allow them to act as patrons to other pets in our care who may not be as adoptable, or have ongoing costs for medical care, contributing to a longer time in rescue, and therefore a higher cost for us to care for them. Patron Pups allow us to continue rescuing these other animals and give them a better chance at finding their forever homes as well.
