Name: Charlie Gender: Male Age: 6-7 months Current Weight: 8.5 lbs Expected Adult Size: Small (under 25 lbs) Breed: Chihuahua-Yorkie Mix Energy Level: Medium-high Dog Friendly: Yes, and can have other dogs in the home or can be an only dog Compatible Types if Dog Selective:  He would enjoy a home with a younger dog who would play with him. Cat Friendly: Yes Kid Friendly: Yes, any age Apartment Friendly: Yes Physical Fence Requirement: Physical fence preferred but not required with regular walks/exercise Crate Trained: No, but working on it Potty Trained: Not fully potty trained, working on it Ideal Home/Adopter: Charlie would do well in a home where he can get lots of attention and play time. We think he would be a great companion for a retired couple who can take him on short walks and spend time playing with him or a family who will give him lots of attention. Likes: Charlie loves playing with chew toys and rope bones. He has a tendency to pull up and drag rugs around, but he's not really big enough to be destructive. When he tires out a bit, he loves to snuggle up on your lap for a nap. He loves treats and we think he will be a quick learner in obedience classes. Dislikes: He barks while he's in a crate as he likes to be with his people What makes this dog special: Charlie is such a sweet little guy. He has the most adorable little prance when we go out for walks. He'll walk a little further if he's following another dog, but he is also happy to be carried. He would probably love a sling carrier. Charlie is also very affectionate and cuddly and loves to curl up on your lap. Charlie's adoption fee is $350. All fees include spay/neuter, microchip, vaccinations, worming, flea and heartworm current.
