Story
Sofie is the sweetest little girl. She is about 4 years old and weighs 15 lbs. She was dumped in rural Oklahoma with 3 other dogs. She is very loving and cuddly and great with dogs and cats. She's not yappy at all, I haven't heard her bark at all yet. She will make a great companion to anyone looking for a lap dog that can also be active. She is currently still in Oklahoma where she was rescued but she can only be adopted out of state where people treat animals well. She has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport at one of our transport drop off locations below. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, we will either find a local foster to take her in or she will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found. www.facebook.com/desideratarescue/reviews Transport locations: - Washington State (Kennewick, Lynnwood/Edmonds, Seattle/Tacoma) - Oregon (Portland and Springfield) - Colorado (Ft Lupton) - Idaho (Heyburn and Boise/Meridian) - Utah (Ogden) - Wyoming (Evanston, Rock Springs, Laramie) - Illinois (Vandalia) - Indiana (Spiceland) - Ohio (Columbus) - Pennsylvania (Pittsburgh and Harrisburg) - New York (Buffalo and Albany) - Connecticut (Enfield) Vetting: spayed, microchipped, rabies vaccine, bordetella vaccine, dhpp vaccine x 2, lepto vaccine x 2, dewormed several times, on monthly flea and tick prevention, on monthly heartworm protection, heartworm tested (negative) Adoption fee: $600 (includes the $250 cost of transport from Oklahoma and all vetting listed above) Optional extra: All dogs must be kept on heartworm prevention for at least 6 months following transport because of the heartworm development cycle to kill any larvae that might present and do not show up on a heartworm test. This is a monthly pill and she will have been given one close to transport. However, there is also the option to give a one time shot that lasts an entire year. This shot costs $150-$170 (based on weight) and is NOT included in the adoption fee but can be added if you choose to. This an added option for those who do not want to have to go to a vet within a month of arrival to get a prescription for the monthly heartworm prevention. Story
Meet Peanut! This handsome and amazing boy lost his owner, sadly. He loves everyone, loves to relax and roll around in the grass. Hes a silly goofy 4-5 year old dog who will be getting a full dental done shortly. He eats well and could lose 3-4 pounds (hes about 15lbs should be 12/13lbs), likes other dogs mostly just hangs around them he isnt a every dog needs to play with me type of dog. Hes happy to go and be with but also happy to hang out upside down on a cool couch or bed inside! He loves to be on his back and get belly rubs and attention he has never met someone he didnt like. Would be a wonderful travel partner or retired families buddy! He has 1 eye we don't know what happened in his past but he's a very good boy!  Seems house and crate trained. He was living with cats and will scream at them if he feels threatened/startled and run away, but if they are just around he adjusts and doesn't care about them.  If interested please follow these steps: 1. fill out and submit an application online at: https://form.jotform.com/240361716308149 2. Please send in home and yard photos for approval. *please note: We like to do 2 week Foster to Adopts on adult dogs,so the dogs don't have to move around as much and they can bond and make sure they fit into your home before completion of adoption.* Dogs adoption fee's will include vet visit/exam, spay/neuter, microchip, blood work up/dental if vet says it is needed, dewormed, up to date on shots (DHPP and Rabies, Bordetella can be done if requested we don't do it normally as we don't have the dogs in boarding, dog parks or high risk locations), Current on 1 dose of flea treatment in case they brought any with them from CA.  If anything isn't mentioned please ask. Adoption fees vary $300-$500 depending on the dog and medical care needed/required. Adoption fee for each dog will be noted in write up. ##2100014##

Story
Annie, the sweetest little lap dog, is fostered in Houston, TX and is guaranteed to shower you in love and gratitude for the rest of her days! Ready to travel as soon as 8/8/24! https://youtu.be/1f6OHXeYlOE Annie is a lovely little senior girl at 9-10 years old, but still has so much life left! Seniors are truly the best dogs. Their calm, peaceful presence is such a comfort and makes for a super easy companion. How rewarding an experience to be the one to give a senior the best years of their life!! Annie is tiny, at 7.2 pounds, and does like the company of other dogs. She can be playful, but mostly likes to spend time relaxing with her people. Annie rides well in the car so she will love to be your co-pilot driving around town. She is on the quieter side, so could easily live in an apartment. Annie is doing well with potty training using a doggy door, but if you don't have one she will need help with reminders of where the appropriate places to go are. Potty pads are a great tool during transition. Annie will need help learning to walk on a leash as she doesn’t have much experience. She will gladly go out in the backyard if you have one, but for apartment life you will need to help her learn this skill. She is very small so this should not be a difficult task. In summary, Annie is looking for life on easy street away from the hustle and bustle, and to leave her days of being a mama behind and be someone's baby for once. Application link: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/666b26f27bdf2ee58a09253d Please email kari@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Available for adoption to anywhere in the US. We transport near or into NV, MT, CO,UT, ID, OR, WA, Canada, and now the East Coast! Our dogs and cats are brought to you in style by a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van or bus transport, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. We can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you! The adoption fee includes all vetting per our veterinarian: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter surgery, flea prevention, 2-6 months of heartworm preventative according to age, heartworm testing and heartworm treatment if applicable, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We provide weekly socialization programs for our dogs through playgroups and group leash training classes available to all dogs in our adoption program, and Doggy Sleepover, Doggy Day Out, and Ambassador programs for our boarding dogs. There is a professional dog trainer on staff to provide support for our fosters and dogs, and an off-site dog trainer for dogs that need more extensive behavior modification. This helps us learn deeply about every dog, prepare them for adoption, and ultimately match them with loving families. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 6 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 14,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $74 surcharge for transport. DISCLAIMER- Breed type is determined based on general appearance and behavioral characteristics, and cannot be guaranteed unless DNA test results or AKC registration were provided at intake.
