Story
This little fella is Bear! He is an older guy looking for his forever home. Scout does need a dental cleaning done before he leaves but fortunately the cost of that cleaning is covered! Bear does have some guarding behaviors so we require that any children in the home be 10 years or older. They can also be a little dog selective so we will require an introduction if you have any other dogs in the home. If you have any questions please ask a kennel technician.

Meet Minnie: Your Pint-Sized Bundle of Joy! Calling all Yorkie lovers! ❤️ Foster Virginia Beach Virginia Are you looking for the spice in your life? 🌶️ Meet Minnie, our adorable 2-year-old, 8-pound Yorkie who’s ready to fill your days with endless love and adventure! 🌟 Minnie is the ultimate companion for anyone seeking a tiny furball of joy who loves people and other small dogs. 🐾 Minnie may be small, but she’s got a big personality! 💥 She’s perfect for anyone who wants a dog that can fit in a purse and accompany you on all your adventures. 🎒 ( stay at home parent is what she needs) However, Minnie prefers a little luxury when it comes to potty time. 🚽 She’s not a fan of the leash for bathroom breaks, so she’ll thrive in a home with a closed-off private area for her to do her business. 🚧 she is not a dog park dog you must have a small backyard completely closed off in order to apply. Cuddle enthusiasts, rejoice! 🛋️ Minnie is a professional snuggler, ready to curl up with you for 20 hours a day. 💖 Whether you’re binge-watching your favorite shows 📺 or working from home 💻, Minnie will be right there, providing endless warmth and affection. Minnie is fantastic with other little dogs 🐶, she can not go a home with other dogs over 20lbs 🐕 If you have a small dog and are looking for a new friend, Minnie could be the perfect fit. 👫 She would do best in a home with someone with steady legs, as she loves to jump up and can sometimes be a bit hard on the back of your legs. 💪 ❤️ If you’re ready to welcome a pint-sized, loving, and adventurous companion into your life, Minnie is ready to go home with you. 🏡 Applications are required for a meet and greet to ensure Minnie finds her perfect match. 📝 Come meet this little bundle of joy and let her add some spice to your life! 🎉 children should be over 8 * yard must have a physical fenced area not a dog yard To clarify Coastal Sheltie Rescue's requirements: The space must be a permanent enclosed area, such as a patio or small yard, that is fully fenced and closed off from the outside. Temporary structures or gates will not be accepted. We are looking for a permanent structure that ensures the safety of the dog and provides a private area for them to go potty. If your home does not already have this type of fully enclosed space, we will not be able to approve your application. Please note that we do not accept applications based on promises of pending yard installations or temporary fixes.

Story
Mickey is appropriately 7-8 years old Yorkie. A few months ago, he was unfortunately hit by a car, and the owners relinquished him to animal control in hopes he would find a rescue that would provide him with the necessary medical care he needed to recover. After a massive surgery by a specialized surgeon, his pelvic area was pieced back together. His foster mom took the best care of him during this time and has done amazing work with him to help rehabilitate.  Mickey craves attention like any Yorkie. He loves sharing a favorite chair or sofa and snuggles. He is great with people, but he isn’t kid tested. Because he is still unsteady on his feet and will be healing and strengthening for a while, homes need to not have young children or rambunctious dogs, because he could easily be trampled and injured. Short walks and an easy, cozy life is what this pup needs for his future. He loves toys and to play tug. Mickey is sensitive to unknown sounds and will bark at them. Unknown sounds could be a whistling teapot, sandhill cranes, gun shots (he is being fostered in the country), etc. He has a big voice for such a small fellow, so no attached style living for him. Mickey gets along well with other small dogs, playing with them, sharing his bed and their companionship. Cats are not a good fit for Mickey's future home, because he is quite persistent and annoying to them, and even a swat doesn’t deter him.  Mickey is fostered in Myakka City, FL, and his fee is $350. He's fully vetted and ready to go.  No airplane trips for this guy, he must go home by way of riding.    Emails generated from Adopt a Pet or Petfinder will NOT be returned. If you visit our website and the dog is marked "available," that means it is available and we are accepting applications. Please read the dog's bio (below) in its entirety before asking questions. If interested, please visit our website and read our adoption policies and complete an application:  www.nakedkissesdogrescue.org/adoption If you do not find the answer to your question(s) on our website, please feel free to email us at nakedkissesdogrescue@gmail.com. For more pics, videos, and info about Sam, please find us on Instagram @SymbioticSuffolk or Facebook @SymbioticInc. Please do not submit an app or inquiry before reading this dog's bio. We reply to ALL emails within 72 hours. If you have not received a response, please check your spam/junk folder. Sweet Sam is just a little old man looking for a warm lap to cuddle up on. Sam has a very friendly personality and gets along with dogs and cats without issue. He loves to eat and have snacks and go for walks in the warm sunshine. Our vets estimate Sam to be about 10+ years old as his little 8lb body does show some wear. His hind end is rather weak and, although it can cause him to slide around a little on slick floors, it doesn’t stop him from happily following his person and even navigating stairs. If you’d like to give Sam a soft spot to land for his retirement years, submit your app today! We’d love to tell you more about him. Symbiotic Inc. has a required minimum $360 adoption donation upon the completion of the adoption (it is tax deductible!) All dog adoptions include a required one-hour virtual session with our partners at Lucky Dogs. This session is at no additional charge www.LuckyDogstraining.net If you think this dog may be a good fit for your family, please visit our website and learn more about our application process. https://symbioticinc.org/adoption-application

Story
Meet Jazz and Wobbles! These two are a mother and daughter pair who came to us in August from a local animal control. They were part of a hoarding case and are very attached. THIS IS A BONDED PAIR AND MUST BE ADOPTED TOGETHER. Jazz is a 4.5-year-old Yorkie mix weighing 15 lbs. Wobbles is a 6.5-year-old Yorkie mix weighing 25 lbs. Both had cherry eyes when they arrived, and we fixed the surgery but Wobbles’ returned. Because they haven't been outside much until now, they're scared of new things and noises, so they need to have a fenced yard. They love attention but need time to trust you. They're currently living with other dogs and a child in their foster home without any problems. If you're patient and willing to give them love, they'll be wonderful additions to your family! Remember, adopting a dog means committing to them for life. If you're interested in adopting Jazz and Wobbles, please don't call. Instead, fill out an online application on 4 Paws Animal Rescue's website at www.4pawz.org. We check the care history of past and current pets to ensure the best homes for our animals. We reserve the right to approve or deny applications based on what's best for the pets. #lovedogsforever #yorkiemix #littledogs #dogrescue #dogs #rescueismyfavoritebreed #dogsareacommittment #rescuedog #lovedogs #adopt #adoptdontshop
