Story
Meet Meila, a sweet and affectionate pup with a passion for human connection and a love for her ancestral melodies. Meila's soulful serenades will captivate any audience lucky enough to hear her sing the songs of her ancestors. While she adores people, Meila prefers to be the only furry friend in the household, as she enjoys having all the attention to herself. She's on the lookout for a loving companion who will take her for leisurely walks and indulge her in games of chase around the backyard. Keep away is one of Meila's favorite pastimes, and she'll make sure you never have a dull moment with her playful antics. Although Meila loves affectionate pets, she's a bit particular about her appearance and appreciates a gentle touch to avoid messing up her hairdo. If you're someone who understands the importance of delicate gestures in showing love, Meila could be the perfect match for you. If you're ready to open your heart and home to this charming canine companion, come meet Meila and let her enchant you with her loving nature and melodious tunes. DOB: 08 / 15 / 2017 For safety's sake, we are looking for homes with physically fenced in areas. Please fill out our online adoption survey at www.mackenzies.info/adopt/adoption-survey-application/

Story
Hello, we are looking to rehome our purebred Alaskan Malamute, Yuki. He is about 110lbs and is neutered. This is an incredibly difficult decision, but we know it is the best for him. Our lives are so busy with work, a toddler, and a baby on the way that we cannot give our sweet boy the attention he deserves. He is 9 years old, full of love, and still has so much life left. He adores cuddles and loves going on walks, something he rarely gets now. He needs a home where he can get the care and activity he craves. He does have some health quirks, scars on his face from scratching and partial blindness, but he adapts well and requires no medication. He doesn't need any special visits to his vet other than a normal check up. This decision is heartbreaking, but we want to find him a home where he will thrive. If you or someone you know is looking for a devoted companion, please reach out.

Story
Meet Yuki, the sweetest, snow-loving pup you’ll ever meet! Her journey began at just 12 weeks old when she was rescued from Carter County Animal Shelter in Tennessee, and soon after, she found her forever home with me. Since then, Yuki has been the ultimate best friend—super friendly, incredibly loving, and always ready to play. She adores her chew toys and has a hilarious obsession with eating all the snow in sight! As she’s grown into her teenage years, Yuki has brought endless joy and love into my life. However, she’s also faced some challenges, developing allergies that cause inflammation in her ears, which require regular vet visits, special food, and consistent care. Over the past two years, I’ve given her all the love I can, but financially, it’s been difficult to keep up with her medical needs. Yuki deserves a home where she can continue to thrive, be unconditionally loved, and receive the care she needs. She’s truly one of a kind and ready to find her new forever family.
