Ralph is the sweetest, goofiest, quietest Husky you'll ever meet—though he is talkative, his chatter is soft and endearing rather than the typical Husky scream. He greets each morning with sweet nose nudges and flops into your lap for belly rubs like he’s not 55 pounds. His zoomies will leave you breathless from laughter, and while he only kind of knows his name, he’s eager to learn.
He does great in an apartment as long as he gets plenty of exercise. Housebroken and respectful when left alone, Ralph rarely makes a sound—except for dramatic sighs when ignored or the quietest, saddest little howls if he knows he’s missing out. He absolutely loves attention and wants to be the center of it at all times. While he enjoys laying with other dogs, nothing makes him happier than people who love on him nonstop—and you’ll fall in love with his big, happy Husky smiles!
Ralph adores people and dogs, though he may jump on visitors and protect his food or favorite toys by laying on them. He would do best in a home with older kids and enjoys both solo and multi-dog households as long as he gets lots of human attention.
On walks, he’s eager and strong but generally well-behaved. He has a medium prey drive and loves hiking, running, and carrying his own gear. Ralph is an affectionate, adventurous pup looking for a patient, active home to give him the love and structure he craves.
Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption.
The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Request Form prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care. For the most complete information regarding this animal, and all of our adoptable pets, please ensure you are visiting our website directly at www.RescueCrew.org. You can also access the necessary online forms here as well.
