Story
Hi my name is Jake. I’m five years old and I’m looking for my forever home. I’m create trained and potty trained, I love kids and other dogs but I’m not so sure about cats. I love to run and exercise I need a big fenced in yard or someone willing to take the time to make sure I get plenty of exercise. I’m a great dog but my current owner can’t keep me bc she is elderly and can’t give me the proper exercise. I sit in the cage all day except to go to the bathroom and I’m very depressed. Please give me my forever home.

Story
We adopted Honey from the Charlotte-Meck Animal Control, I have her paperwork, includes all medical history while she was at the shelter. She is a very sweet dog, LOVES people & attention. We do not know much about how she would do with other dogs, IMO she may need to be a single dog family, who have some experience with high energy, driven personality dogs, owners who are active outdoors & can take her with them for walks, hikes etc. She loves going for walks & is learning to heel. She came to us knowing how to sit for treats, she is VERY smart & could make a young couple a great companion. We just do not have the lifestyle to be able to give her the opportunity to shine, soon as I saw her on the shelter website & in person I knew we had to save her from the shelter, it was NOT a no kill shelter. Honey deserves a FOREVER home where she can be a queen & loved to the fullest.
