Story
A nice family took in Mr. Ozzy when they found him dumped near their home. They didn't know that mom would be severely allergic. Ozzy is about a year young, playful, good with other dogs, and kids, and while we're not sure about cats, he seems like he'd be ok based on his reaction to seeing neighbor cats. Ozzy is very smart, loving, and generally quiet. He lets you know when someone comes around, but once he knows that their presence is ok, he's quiet as a mouse and just wants to be loved! Because he has to live outside, technically he's not housebroken, but if you have ever housebroken an adult dog, you know it's A LOT easier than housebreaking a puppy!! When the weather is nice, Ozzy is all about the H2O playtime.... sprinklers, lake, river, he's not picky! If you're interested in this sweet boy, please let us know today by applying through our website. Not to worry.... our application is relatively short. Increasingly, we are doing FOSTER TO ADOPT options! That’s where you and puppers make sure you’re a good fit for one another before signing on “the dotted line”….. it’s a win-win for everyone! Just ask your adoption counselor about how this works. IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Interested in adopting this or another POPP dog? Please complete our adoption questionnaire found at: https://www.popptricities.org/adopt/adoption-questionnaire-canine/ If you have any questions. please E-mail us at dogsadopt@popptricities.org. ADOPTION PACKAGES: Our puppy or dog adoption fee of $200 includes a lovable, non-judgmental canine companion, and a free vet exam. Story
$50 Adoption fee! Why so low? Yakima County is spilling over with stray and dumped dogs. Our goal is to get dogs into the right homes ASAP so we can help other dogs in need. It's not about the money, it's about finding the right home for these pups! Koda was owned by a homeless person who had to change locations and couldn’t take him along. He wanted more for Koda, but was really heartbroken letting him go. Koda is a wonderful dog, with so much love to give. He plays really well with the other foster dogs and loves exploring new places and smells. This dog is located in Selah, WA. PetFinder allows multiple postings of the same animal as long as the postings are 100 miles apart from each other. This way we can reach far and wide to find the perfect home for this dog. If driving to Selah is difficult for you, we will do our best to find a rescue partner to meet you halfway.
