American Bobtail kittens & cats in Houston, Texas

Sombra is around 7 years old. Recommended to be around adults and no younger than mid teenage children educated in cat behavior. She plays well and can still be clicker trained (provided you give the right treats). Loves to play with hair accessories, rattle balls, Velcro zip ties, and small toy cars or spinner tops! She likes to chase lights and string especially when she can jump high. She likes to explore when she’s comfortable and gets to high places! She will mess with things you don’t want her messing with to get your attention for food, water, snacks or affection(even if she has plenty) she is territorial and doesn’t do well with little kids or any other animals. She doesn’t like people making animalistic noises strays taunting her through doors or windows. She also doesn’t like raised voices. She will vocalize when agitated. She sometimes eats too fast or without chewing. And when seasons change she should be brushed regularly to reduce shedding and hairballs.

Piper was rescued from the pound. She had a litter of kittens there but unfortunately they passed away. She is a quiet, loving girl who gives infinite snuggles. She is fixed, vaccinated and ready for her forever home.

She is also very enthusiastic about play time which include jumping, running, climbing and chasing toys and the other kitties in her foster home. She is a very entertaining kitty. Full of fun and love. She is not one to cuddle with other kitties but will play with them as long as they are willing. But she does pester the older kitties who really do not want to play. She'd be OK with fun kitty around her energy level in her new home. Her big issue and why she has not yet been adopted: She has problems using the litter box. We thought it might be due to having no tail, but now believe it is a behavior issue. She will urinate in cardboard boxes but will poop on the tile floor. She will go to the same area most times, but not always. Her fosters must find her little "gifts". We also have to keep the dogs away since dogs sometimes eat poo. Because of this she needs a home without dogs. Also, a home without carpet and with a patient understanding, experienced cat owner. Kiki is to be adopted as an indoor only cat despite these issues.
