American Bobtail kittens & cats in Taylor, Texas

I just adopted this cutie but unfortunately am moving very unexpectedly and am unable to take him. He is fixed, fully vaccinated (with records), and house trained (knows how to use a litter box). He is VERY energetic and needs a home with someone who can give him lots of attention. He is shy at first and likes to hide when I first got him, but eventually he came out of his shell and just loved to be around me and my roommates who he got along with instantly after getting to know them for just a day or so. He has a cute meow and loves to climb all over you and just be around. A very loving cat who can get a little rowdy during playtime. Full disclosure, he tends to kick litter out of his box, not sure why. He also plays pretty aggressively (unintentionally, he is just a kitten). He scratches and bites cords and is very energetic all the time which could be an issue but I want him to go to someone who knows what they are getting into!

Cuddly, Silly, Loving Broadway Kid has been practicing her vocals and is ready for her big debut with you! She'll probably be a little nervous at first but let her take things at her own pace and before long she will be the star of the show. She's a very affection cat once she warms up, though that affection is most often on her terms not yours. She's fairly vocal, and its easy to know when she wants pets, snuggles, to play, or to even just know where you are. When she's happy, she vibrates her little stumpy tail! She accepts praise and bribes in the form of treats - especially Churu treats. She does not typically like other cats or dogs and would do best in a home where she can have her own space with a patient person. In the perfect home, you can expect her to always want to be in the room with you and even commonly on top of you. Give her snuggles and play with her using a wand toy and she is a happy and content girl. Broadway Kid has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! waives the adoption fees of these cats, and provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. Broadway Kid can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine!
