Poor Papa was on death row in a kill shelter because he was deemed dog aggressive. We believe it was the shelter environment, and that he may be dog selective. I mean, we pick our friends, right?? Papa mis m4 yrs old and weighs about 67 pounds. He looks to be an American Bully and St. Bernard mix. We say that because of his longer, thicker coat. Papa is a big mush of a dog that loves to play and cuddle. He also gives pretty good kisses! Papa is housebroken, UTD on all shots, neutered and microchipped. He is also heartworm negative and on regular heartgaurd and flea control. Papa would do well in any family, adults and families with kids. He loves his walks and car rides. He loves to explore new places and meet new people. Papa is guaranteed to put a smile on anyone's face! If you meet Papa, you will fall in love. He's just "That Guy"

We adopted Zoey from our local vets office after she was abandoned in 2021. Since then we've added to our family with a 4th baby and took in my father in law and his senior dog to live in our home. Zoey is a very sweet dog, she is almost 3 years old, very sweet and snuggly. She is fully potty trained, protective. She doesn't like fireworks but calms down easily with medicine. She eats dry food (no special diet) and has never shown any aggression with food. She can walk on a leash. She's great with kids, other dogs and cats. She smiles with her whole face. We wish we could keep her but we just don't have the time to give her the attention she deserves. She would make a great pet for a loving family or a single person.

Hi! I'm Rizzo, a very sweet, loving, happy girl! I love to go on trips and walks. I love Benebones and stuffy toys. I love to play catch, and cuddle with my PEOPLE! Did I tell you people are my most favorite? I am good being left loose in the house, but I prefer to not be left alone for long periods of time. Please don't leave me outside, I can be in a crate or left out in the house if you leave. I have amazing jumping skills and can scale a fence so you can not leave me alone outside because I get bored. Rizzo loves people and is great being the only pet and getting all the attention. She has been through professional training and did great! Rizzo is a 5-year-old, 65 lb, American Bulldog/Pit Bull mix looking for her forever family. She is UTD, spayed, microchipped, house trained, and is good to walk on leash. Rizzo is medium energy and would love a family to cuddle and go on adventures with. She is great with kids but would prefer older kids. Rizzo does not like small dogs or cats, so she can never have access to them. Adoption requirements are as such: Not a first time dog owner If a fenced in yard, willingness to not leave her outside alone as she can jump fences No kids under 6 due to size No cats or small dogs If another dog, a medium sized confident non-dominant dog Please note, Rizzo is part of Happy Trails Animal Rescue’s rehoming program. Zeus is an XL American Bulldog - pictures do not do this guy's size justice! Zeus doesn't know a stranger - he loves absolutely everyone he meets. As is common for bully's, he can be rude and pushy when he wants to play - with his size and pushy, playful nature, older kids would be ideal. But, he doesn't have a mean bone in his body and has previously lived with small children without issue, so as long as the kids were confident and comfortable with a big, playful dog. He gets along great with other dogs. Zeus is housebroken but has had some history of marking behaviors inside, particulary after guests or other animals have visited the home. We are hopeful that it will improve some now that he is neutered, but he may need some training support to correct this behavior. Adoption fee $150, he is neutered and current on vaccines. All dogs adopted through our organization receive free training support during the transition and for the lifetime of the pet - including our group classes! ##1954552##
