Story
Labrador/Terrier mix senior male medium black/white Oh my, this sweet guy is so loving. He came in to our hearts as El Jefe, the "boss". Pushy he's not unless it's to wanting to give kisses and affection. Oh yummy! He is a social dog and just enjoys being around people. We hope to put a happy ending to the story that brought him to us. Through no fault of his own, Jefe's owners brought him to the clinic to be euthanized. The vet thought Jefe had so much more life to live and love to share. He called and asked could we take him and find him a family who will love him.......the rest of his life. And that's the happy ending we are working on for him.......and we hope you will help. Jefe is happy being a couch potato but if you invite him to go for a walk...yeah...he's on it. Great on a leash. He may dawdle a bit.....that's canine speak for slowing down to check out all the wonderful smells. A great companion with whom everyday life is so much better. Great with other dogs. He lives at the School right now but ideal would be for him to be sharing his love with a family. Jefe is a young 9 year old, vaccinated, heartworm negative, neutered , microchipped and ready to put another bright spot in your every day life.

Diana is a 1 year old female Bulldog/Lab mix, who came to the shelter with her brother Clark. Both currently live in the same pen together, and while they clearly like each other, they can be adopted separately or together. Diana is initially a little shy, and is happy to let her brother check out new people first. But once she knows you, she adores you and will rush forward to greet you with her precious smile!  Diana is a very sweet lovey-dovey girl, who enjoys cuddles and belly rubs. Her soulful eyes are so hard to resist, and will steal your heart! Story
Clark is a 1 year old male Bulldog/Lab mix, who came to the shelter with his sister Diana. Both currently live in the same pen together, and while they clearly like each other, they can be adopted separately or together. Clark seems to be the more outgoing of the two, and is the first to greet anyone coming to spend time with them. He is very friendly and loving, and likes staying close to you, just so that you don’t forget about him. Clark and Diana are very entertaining when they start playing together, and they will often gently wrestle with each other before stopping to rest together in the shade. Clark also enjoys going on walks and taking short dips in the kiddie pool. He is a fun-loving and very sweet boy, who is ready to find his person(s) and love them with all his heart! Story
Navy is an almost one year old Bulldog mix, who is sure to charm you! This little girl loves spending time in the park, where she scampers from spot to spot, finding anything and everything interesting. Her cute short legs work overtime as she frolics through the grass, and her tail wags the entire time! Navy enjoys chasing toys, and she will occasionally do an adorable play bow just to get you in on the fun too. She seems ok with other dogs, although a Meet n’ Greet is always recommended if other dogs are in the household. Navy also didn’t react to a feral cat, other than being curious about it. She has been patiently waiting for a loving furever home, and she certainly deserves it. So if you are looking for a playful and lovable addition to your family, be sure to meet Navy soon! Story
Hi I’m Boogie and my butt wiggles just as you say my name! I’m currently with my wonderful foster family decompressing from almost a year in the shelter with my foster brother who is a German Shepard that loves to run! I love to run and play ball too!! A little bit about me: I LOVE chewing on toys and bones and can keep myself entertained for hours with a good chew toy.. I’ve never been one for chewing something not given to me. I’m crazy about playing fetch, try me! Ive been in the shelter in a cage for a long time so I'm learning potty training but I'm catching on super fast! You can’t give me enough lovings because I have no bubble!! Despite my past, I am the happiest pup and will be happy with anyone who will give me a loving home. I LOVE people and will lean into you for loves and I just discovered I love watching TV with my foster mommy. Come meet me! Boogie had several dog meets and loves other dogs but we suggest doing a meet with your dog if you already have one to make sure they are a good match!
