Meet Marge, a 3-year-old Bulldog mix weighing 41.5 lbs! Now in a foster home, we’ve learned even more about this affectionate, playful girl. She absolutely loves attention, belly rubs, and toys—especially when she gets the zoomies! Marge is perfectly house-trained and has been a wonderful houseguest. She hasn’t been crated in her foster home, but she’s well-behaved indoors. She knows “sit” and has now learned “lie down” too! She has a fun mix of energy—she loves to play and can be quite strong when excited, but she’s also capable of settling down and relaxing with her person. On walks, she’s generally a light puller but can tug harder when she sees another dog, so she’ll do best with someone who can handle her strength. Marge hasn’t been introduced to kids or dogs yet, but based on her temperament, we expect she’d do well with both. However, when she gets the zoomies, she’s like a little freight train, so small children might need to watch out! If you’re looking for a fun, loving companion with a great mix of playfulness and snuggles, Marge could be the perfect match for you! Her adoption fee is $300 plus a $15 fee (if 4 months or older) for rabies registration for McLean County residents. She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
