Beautiful Handsome Sweet Snoop Snoop is our handsome 2 year old foster pup with the CUTEST features.l with a permanent smile. He never meets a stranger. He loves dogs, kids, belly rubs, loves to give kisses and get kisses, and loves everyone he meets. He really is the very best pup. 🐾 He is potty trained and sleeps well in the kennel and in the bed - you never hear a peep out of him! He rarely barks even when he is outside playing in our fenced in yard. He also rides well in the car and LOVES the dog park. He is the absolute messiest drinker of water and he has no clue he is making a mess. He just looks at us with a smile.❤️ He also likes to walk me until he gets tired and then he does very well. 😂 We walk almost every morning in our neighborhood. He loves and looks forward to his walks. He also thinks everyone wants a kiss from him and I had to tell him that not everyone loves kisses.😢 So we are working on this. He also chases Magzy, our cat, squirrels, rabbits and chipmunks. Really anything that moves, but I really think he wants to just play. He has never caught anything and I am not sure what he would do if he did, but he would be best in a home with no cats. Snoop is a great adventure buddy, but also a great snuggler, loves to sleep under the covers, and deserves the best life! He loves to play ball and bring it back, but only for a snack and in the house. For some reason, he won't fetch it outside. We have been working on this. He will make his forever family so happy and be their best friend, but it’s going to have to be the perfect fit for me to let him go. I would love to keep him, but I am not able to. I love you so much sweet Snoop. The perfect home would be an individual or family that is active and loves to walk, run, hike with their pup and spend time with them. I won't accept anything less. Aly is looking for a new home to live her life out in, where she will be the only dog. For some reason she seems to get jealous with another dog in the home the behavioralist can not seem to figure out why she has become like this in the past 4 months. She is an awesome gal as long as she is the only dog in the house. She has been trained and is house trained, potty trained, crate trained, will sit, and other basic commands, walks well on a leash (passes dogs ok w/treats), a 62lb love bug, a cuddler, loves to go on car rides, plays well by herself in the fenced in yard, loves people and very affectionate. Mr. Biggs is estimated to be 2 years old and weighs 75 pounds. He is very sweet and wants to please. We believe he is American Bulldog. He does well around other dogs but would probably do best in a home with calm dogs and not pushy ones. He can be cat tested if needed. He does like to look at cats out the window and seems really interested like he might want to chase one. He is laid back and likes to just chill on his dog bed but can also get playful every once in a while. He loves food and would probably do anything for food. He has the most adorable squishy face and the best facial expressions. Loves to be pet and loved on. He is crate trained and has only had a couple of accidents in the house when not in the crate. He is good about giving a little bark when he needs to go out. He walks very well on leash, and he LOVES to go for car rides. This guy never meets a stranger- he is all butt wiggles, tail wags, and slobbery kisses for everyone he meets. Mr. Biggs was rescued off of a busy interstate where he was scrounging for food. We have searched for his home to no avail. He had no collar or identification and no microchip. We have had him fully vetted (vaccs, heartworm negative, neutered, microchipped, etc.)Located in Arkansas, but transport is available. Meet our local celebrity, Dora the Explorer! Dora is around 3 years old and she weighs around 58 lbs. Dora was spotted for over 1 year traveling a wide area and numerous concerned citizens became concerned that Dora had lost her way and her family. A group of volunteers made it their mission to rescue Dora. After being caught it was evident that at some point she had a family that loved her because she knew many commands and was proving to be a very intelligent girl. Dora is very playful. She bonds to her humans very quickly and would just love to be a couch potato when she is not out in the yard entertaining herself or having fun playing fetch. Her foster family has several older dogs and Dora seems fine with them, however, Dora would do great as well, as a single dog family because she loves her people! Any questions about her can be answered by her foster mom and we can put you in touch with her. Dora is ready to travel when the perfect home is found for her. Fill out an Adoption Application Brief description: Elliot is a sweet little low-rider fellow who wants to be by your side at all times. Weighing in at about 35 lbs, he is a perfect lap dog. He’s your ride or die, always willing to do whatever you’re in the mood for, whether its having a lazy on the couch or taking a hike in the woods. He enjoys being around people and just wants to be the center of attention. He’s house and crate trained and responds well to commands. He is quite the quirky character and will make you laugh with the way he hops around when he’s happy or lays with his legs straight up in the air when he’s sleeping. Likes: Loves attention from his humans. He likes to sit by your feet all day, whether you’re working at your desk or watching TV, he’ll be right there with you. Did you say ‘get the ball?’ Elliot’s favorite game is playing fetch. This makes him very happy, and you can tell because he starts hopping like a bunny when he’s playing fetch to show his enthusiasm. He’s very food motivated and will do anything you ask him when a treat is involved. Dislikes: The only thing that seems to annoy him is when his foster brother tries to hump him, but to be expected, lol! Personality: Elliot is very cuddly and touchy and wants to be involved in everything you do. He doesn’t know the concept of personal space. He listens well and is down for anything; he can be spunky or chill and will adapt to your mood. He has a very happy-go-lucky attitude and just wants to please you. If you’re looking for a snuggle companion, he’s your guy. Temperament: Very friendly to everyone he meets and can be quite the little ham. When he wants attention, he’ll jump right into your lap and stare up at you until you pet his head. He is always good for a laugh with his quirky little ways. If traveling is your thing, he’s good in the car, enjoys taking walks, and adapts well to new environments. But what he enjoys most is being a lap dog. Energy level: Spurts of energy when he wants you to play, then other times he is very chill and lazy. Favorite activities: Playing fetch with the ball, walks, car rides, playing with toys, and chilling on the sofa. Good with cats, dogs, and kids (over 6)?: Elliot is good with other dogs; he just needs a slow introduction so he can be sure the the other dog is a really his friend. Once he realizes the other dog is going to be cool with him, he’s good to go and wants nothing more than to play and have fun. He has a few scars around his face, so he may have been attacked by other dogs who weren’t so nice to him in his past life. He seems to get along better with calmer dogs who aren’t intrusive of his personal space. He’s good with people in general; men, women, & children. Kids under 10 are probably not good idea only because he can get wound up and hyper-focused on his toys, especially when playing fetch. Not good with: He’s never been around cats so not sure. Housetrained: YES, Elliot is fully house trained. As soon as you let him outside, he’ll pee and poop right away, he doesn’t waste any time doing his business so he can get right back to you. Crate trained: Yes. If you say “crate” he’ll walk right in and waits for his treats. Other times, he goes in by himself just to chill. Requires a fenced yard (physical fence and/or invisible fence)?: Elliot would do fine either with or without a fenced yard. He has a good recall, but still needs to be leashed for safety. Walks well on a leash?: Does well on a leash and enjoys taking walks. Doesn’t pull and listens well. Challenges: Not many! He’s very easy going and adapts quickly to his environment. However, he has a tendency to be very invasive of your space and will try to get in your lap at all costs, whether it means stepping on your laptop or knocking your drink out of your hand. But that’s being pretty nit picky, as he’s a pretty darn near perfect. Any Medical issues?: No What would be the best kind of home?: Elliot would do well in a home that gives him plenty of lap-time, snuggles, and attention. He would do well as an only dog or in a home that has a calmer, more chill dog. If you work outside of the home, that’s no problem. He’s house-trained and well-behaved; he doesn’t chew or get into things he not supposed to. He’d probably do best with kids over 10 only because he can be intense when he plays and gets hyper-focused on his toys. Meet Queen (nicknames: Queen Bean, and Queen of the Beans) Queen is a gentle, loving mama whose puppies have all found homes—now it’s her turn to shine! She’s the perfect companion, great with dogs, cats, chickens, kids—basically anyone she meets! Playful and silly, especially with other dogs, her short-legged zoomies will have you laughing in no time. But most of the time, she’s so quiet and low-maintenance, you might forget she’s even there. Well, until you catch sight of her forever wiggle butt squeezing into spaces she doesn’t quite fit! While she’s still getting the hang of walking on a leash, she’s an excellent riding buddy and loves to be close. Super snuggly but equally happy in her crate, she runs there any time she thinks it’s time to eat! Just don’t let her fool you with her big booty—she’s a bit clumsy and sometimes seems blissfully unaware of her surroundings. Queen’s no jumper either, but her little dance next to the bed will tell you she’s ready to be picked up. And when she decides to join in, forget about personal space—she’ll wedge herself right next to you, but thankfully, she’s not a licker! She just nudges her head into you, rolls onto her back, and throws her feet in the air. **Meet Spirit!** Spirit is a 1-year-old boxer mix with the most gorgeous blue eyes and a smile that will melt your heart. This sweet boy is very well-behaved and has quickly earned the nickname “Velcro dog” because he loves to stick close to his people. He’s pretty good on a leash and enjoys car rides, although he’s still a bit tentative and needs some encouragement to get in. Spirit is also working on his crate training; while he’s hesitant to enter, he does well once inside and doesn’t have accidents. Spirit is fantastic with children and gets along wonderfully with the 7-year-old in his current foster home. He’s still learning how to play with toys and prefers soft treats over hard ones.
