Story
Blue/Orange-12+ Kids, Opp Gender Dogs, No CatsRequirements-Vet Check, Home VisitAzalea is quite a little dynamo who knows her own mind and doesn't let anything stand in her way. She loves squeaky toys and balls but you will have to trade to get the toy back from her. She may get along with a non-dominant male dog, but would probably require multiple meets. Azalea is not a fan of being touched when eating nor having anyone try to touch her food. She does take treats respectfully. For more resources to help with at any step of your adoption journey go to: https://go.petadoptiongateway.com/LycomingDTBureau of Dog Law Enforcement-Kennel License #2617

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.ADORES CHILDREN!NOBODY KNOWS THE TROUBLE I'VE SEEN .....  Where is my new home?  Still patiently waiting for the 'right' home.  Trouble is anything but Trouble says her foster mom.  She is a lovely female beagle/bulldog mix.  Trouble has lost her home due to a change in family living.  Up to now, she has lived with children and other dogs.  In her foster home, she goes for long walks with her canine companions and is good on a leash although a bit strong.  She SO loves to play with her two canine residents so we feel she needs a home with other friendly dogs.  Trouble has attended a soccer game with her foster mom and seems totally enthralled with the game.  See photo.  The first night in her new foster home, Trouble slept with her foster's granddaughter and was a great snuggle buddy.Trouble is looking for a home with a playful friendly canine companion, an active owner and hopefully a fenced in yard due to having a high prey drive that could send her running into a dangerous situation if off-leash.  However, if an adopter has access to allow Trouble to frequently run off leash safely , then a fenced yard requirement will be waived.  Did we say 'she loves KIDS'.Trouble is spayed, microchipped, up to date with vaccinations, and is on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives.  Apply soon to add this awesome dog to your heart and home.  Trouble is being fostered near Selinsgrove, PA.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ Click here for the ADOPTION APPLICATION if you are interested in adopting this pet. Applications are the first step in the adoption process. Please do not call or email simply to express interest. We are all volunteers and receiving your application saves us time and helps to determine the best match for both people and dogs.  We provide as much information as we currently have on each dog in their description. For questions on the adoption process, including fees, please review the Adoption page. If you have additional questions or are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application. Once we receive your application someone will be in touch to answer your questions. We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.  Thank you!August 18, 2024, 6:27 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.*Lewistown, PA* Deitz is an Old American bulldog mix who is true to his breed. He was born in 2013. When he is not playing hard, he just wants to cuddle and warning... he thinks he is a lap dog. He enjoys chewing on bones, deer antlers, and playing with squeaky toys. A fenced yard would be ideal for his energy. If no fence, daily exercise would be a must for him. He rides great in the car and would be a great dog for hikes and long walks. Don't let his age full you.. this boy still has lots of energy and love to share. He would do best in a calmer home without a lot of people in and out. He does good with medium to large dogs, small dogs we would not recommend. He is not good with cats. Older/considerate kids would be best for him to play with since he is a solid boy. He seems to do best with women and is slow to warm up to men, but once he trusts you, you’re golden. He came to ODAAT after his human Mom passed away in their home. Deitz stayed by her side for days until they were found by family and sadly the family was unable to keep him. Understandably so, he will be protective of your family. He would never want to lose you. When applying to adopt through ODAAT, please know that we take pride in placing our animals appropriately based on their needs and personality. We want the best family for them and the perfect fit for your family. All applications are ran prior to choosing an adopter.. This process takes time and we do not adopt out on a "first come first served" basis. Applications are found on our website www.onedogatatime.us .Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 19, 2024, 10:21 am
