Scooter is a very affectionate and polite little pup. He shows high intelligence, is eager to please, and always wants to be by your side. He’s loyal and loves affection, whether it’s pets, hugs, kisses, snuggling together in front of the TV, cuddling at bedtime, or just hanging out. . Scooter is practicing crate training, leash training, and potty training daily, and he's on a consistent schedule with all of them. . Scooter was abandoned as a little puppy, and found starving with road rash all over his body and was brought to a Texas kill shelter. Kind Spirits Rescue pulled him into a foster home and now that he’s up to date on all his vaccines, prevention, and his hair has grown back, he’s looking for a hero adopter to give him a forever home. We learned that Scooter is a very sweet dog and will be excellent an family pet! . Kind Spirits is a nonprofit 501(c)3 Texas-based rescue group. Caleb possesses all of our favorite qualities that make him an amazing forever companion. He is far and away one of our most dog-friendly boys, who is always ready to welcome new fur friends into the mix and show off all his favorite toys. He was also a big playgroup favorite at the shelter he came from, and seemed to be able to convince even the shyest dogs that they could still have some fun in the shelter as long as he was around! Caleb also has amazing potential to learn all the things you need him to in order to adapt to your lifestyle. He's incredibly human and treat focused, and picks up quickly on new commands with a big, dopey smile on his face. And you guys...we get it...sometimes handling bigger dogs can be intimdating. But our Caleb is an easy peasy dream on a leash. Caleb is a big goofy boy, and we love that about him. He wants love and human snuggles all the time, which may be a little too much for little kids who don't want to get knocked over. So we think older kids would be a good start for him. But, being he's seemingly easy to train, he's got the potential to learn calmer behavior when meeting new people and doesn't have a mean bone in his body.

So, I am Kermit the Dog, and I am pleased to make your acquaintance.I was found in a vacant lot outside of Austin by a kind stranger. I could not lift myself, could not walk, was nothing more than a big, ponderously lopsided head atop a skeleton with drum taught skin. The kind fellow took me to Austin Animal Center, where I was bathed and fed, where I met a foster family that were volunteering that day, a foster family who had spent ten minutes that morning in their automobile promising one another that they would not go home with another dog.I am Kermit the rosy-minded promise breaker, the one that makes a beautiful liar of you. On the way to their home I slept with my head on her lap as he drove me to meet my foster brothers and sister. I am Kermit the Picasso.My snout is somewhere between Pyrenees and Pug, I have one half of an ear on the right side of my head, a broken and drooping ear on the left side, and my tail is bent in so many places that when it wags (as it does often, because I am Kermit the Happy) it looks like a question mark fluttering in the wind.I am Kermit the Indefatigable. I try not to think of my life before this, but at some point I was discarded.Which makes me Kermit, the Most Magnificent Trash. I am Kermit the Curious. Where are you going? the bathroom?
