Luna is a very sweet 4 year American Bulldog. She is a big dog with a outgoing personality. She is good with most dogs but if one invades her space, she will let them know that is not ok. Luna does have Lyme disease and Anaplasmosis which are both tick borne illnesses and is currently undergoing treatment for them. She may have repeat flair ups during her life and mild lameness which may require additional medication. She really deserves a home that she has a fluffy bed and lots of attention. *Due to state laws regarding out of state adoptions, we cannot adopt to families in Massachusetts or Rhode Island.* Ethal is an approximately 5 year old female bulldog mix. She is heartworm negative. She has a lot of energy and gets very excited meeting people. She loves all people, but would be better in a home without small children due to she gets so excited she knocks them over. Her foster describes her as someone swinging a hula made of bowling balls. She has not been cat tested. She likes other dogs, but does prefer to be the alpha and can resource guard so an adopter familiar with that would be needed. Listed breed is an educated guess made by our veterinarian and is NOT a guarantee - this also means we have no way of knowing what a puppy's adult size will be. This dog is currently being fostered in Mississippi and will be transported via Barton's Barkers transport services upon adoption. Their adoption fee is $500 and includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, a nose to tail vet check, microchip and transport costs. Second Chances lists dogs as being available in White River Junction, VT because we transport our dogs to the area every 3rd week after they have been adopted. All of our local shelters have a high euthanasia rate due to overpopulation so we created our rescue group to primarily adopt to the northern states to help keep as many dogs as we can from entering our kill shelters.   ##1621551##

Not sure what the dad is but this pup and all the siblings appear to to be purebred. This pup is extremely sweet and loving. This pup is devoted and absolutely loves people. This pup is great with other dogs. cats and even the foster's mini pig. This pup has been started on crate training and potty training. This pup is current in all age appropriate vaccines, preventives, microchipped. The adopter will get all the health records with the adoption. We require a prescreen application to adopt. This is our sweet precious Lucy. Lucy had an owner but her owner used to turn her out every day to wander the streets. A friend of the rescue would pick her up when she saw her and bring her home. She feared that Lucy would get hit by a car so one day when she returned her home, she asked the owners if they would surrender her to a rescue. They agreed and Lucy arrived here happy as a clam. She's a big girl, not fat, just a big girl. She's a very gentle big girl, sleeps in my bed with all the little ones sleeping on top of her! She loves children and cats. She was heart worm positive when she arrived but we have cleared all of that up. Lucy maybe a little older at 8 years but she has the energy of a puppy. She loves to play all day with the rest of the shelter dogs. She is spayed, fully vaccinated and house broken. She needs her forever home, could that be you? PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE LOCATED IN TENNESSEE AND YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO MEET OUR PETS PRIOR TO ADOPTION! ADOPTION FEE $350
