Story
Jimmy Chimichanga is a medium built American Bulldog with cut off ears and a long tail. He was found sick out in the county with no microchip, underweight and with a cough - rescue brought him in to start treating him while looking for an owner. Jimmy needed a few rounds of antibiotics before kicking the URI. He was also treated for heartworms and now on prevention. Jimmy loves napping, when it's time to go outside, he can be found snoring in a dog house. He avoids exercise and finds even car rides to be exhausting. In true, Bulldog fashion, he lives life in slow motion. Besides napping, Jimmy loves spa day when he gets a bath and deep tissue massage. This lazy dog would benefit from a breed experienced home, we suspect Jimmy had limited socializing before coming to rescue. He needs time and space to accept new things outside his home. Some people are fearful of American Bulldogs and Jimmy does snort/growl/snore. Vaccinated, Neutered, Microchipped, heartworm treated-on prevention. FOSTERED IN TEXAS. *Adoption Fee includes fee by van transport to PNW, Midwest or NY-NJ-CT-VA-VT states by pet transport partners. Whether it’s a hike in the great outdoors or a simple trip to the park, she’s always ready to tag along and enjoy the journey with you. Her enthusiasm for life is contagious, and she’ll make every outing more enjoyable. Dutchess is a dream at home, too. She’s potty trained, kennel trained, and has never had an accident in her foster home. She kennels perfectly and is so chill and easygoing, making her an absolute pleasure to have around. She takes treats gently, loves to cuddle, and enjoys going on walks where she doesn’t pull but loves to wander and sniff, soaking in all the scents of the world around her. Dutchess gets along well with other dogs, but a meet-and-greet is required to ensure she’s the perfect match for her new canine companions. Her playful and friendly nature ensures she’s a joy to be around, whether it’s playtime in the yard or cuddles on the couch. Currently in a foster home in New Braunfels, TX, Dutchess is eagerly searching for her forever home. Story
He is an American Bully with an easy going attitude. Lazy. Affectionate. Playful. Quiet. He looks like a seal or potbelly pig with his extra large head with cropped off ears and tiny legs. He is healthy (he has easy to manage seasonal allergies) and active, crate trained and house trained. Dog and kid friendly- He is fostered with dogs of every size, he does best with larger females since he can be bossy. Most male dogs try to challenge him due to his size. Cheeseburglar is a LOVER not a fighter, he barks for attention. He spends most of his days napping on a Quilt in the AC. Favorite Color: Orange Favorite Toy: Squeaky Duck Stuffy Favorite Food: Cheese HIS-STORY: This strikingly handsome low rider was caught sleeping curled up in the home office with the cats, 'caught' because he didn’t live there and had pushed open a door during a storm and made himself at home. He was put outside to wait for Animal Control, a ride to the county jail for trespassing. He was bailed out and efforts made for the past few weeks to local owners. Always surprised at who needs a second chance, this American Bully with cut off ears and a dominate personally, needs a confident family to give him rules and exercise. Cheeseburglar needed a few extra meals and medications for a skin infections from fleas (dermatitis) which has resolved. Now neutered, up to date on vaccines and testing heartworm negative.

Story
Gordie is a 3 yr old, bulldog/American Bully. Everyone says “Pit”, but google the breed, and voila! Gordie has been with cats, dogs of all sizes, small animals, and kids and does well. She'd 57 lbs, but don't tell her the vet said she needs to lose 12-14 lbs. Why we call her Gordie and not her full name Gordita ( thick pancake). Gordie is housetrained and knows her name. Gordita will walk and explore or crash on a fluffy dog bed as long as you like. We often call dogs “Diamond in the rough.” This one is just a diamond. Fostered in Montpelier, VT. Please submit a completed application on our website with any interest or inquiries.    Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 22, 2025, 8:15 pm

Story
Welcome Buddy to CCPAL Rescue. He is a 2-year old American Bulldog and Australian Cattle dog is our best guess on the mix. He has a lower coat and does shed. He is a bit of a puller on leash when he first gets out of his kennel. He is intelligent, affectionate and ready to learn. It doesn’t appear he would be hard to train but may have not had a lot of training in his first home. He would be great for a runner, jogger or hiker. He is sturdy and could keep pace and would love to join his human. He is in my opinion a perfect man dog. He loves men naturally and leans in to show his affection. He hasn’t been reactive on leash when walking around other dogs. He is social and not afraid of new people. He is exuberant so we think he would be best around children that are 8 or older. He would do great with an active family that wants an active companion. He does slow down and likes to chill out as well. He is not perpetual motion. He is getting neutered soon and is already getting his vaccinations and will be chipped. He is hw negative and ready for his forever home. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. . Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions.
