Story
CHARLESTON IS IN HIS FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN. CHARLESTON WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO VA ONCE HE IS ADOPTED!    This hunk is Charleston. He is a four year old Bulldog mix. He is the sweetest fun loving goofball. He is a big boy who loves attention. He wants you to pet him, and he wants to lean into you with his whole body. He does not meet a stranger in a person or dog. He loves playing in the backyard with his toys, and then lounging on the porch sunbathing. He gets excited to go anywhere. He will run to the door and wait for you to let him out- then he jumps right in the car. This adorable boy has the most stunning eyes. We believe Charleston has some hearing loss. He seems to hear some pitches, but either doesn’t hear the others or ignores them. He does good walking on a leash, is kennel trained, and house trained. He loves greatly- he will become your shadow. If he wants your attention he will whine/talk to you to let you know. Charleston is a big boy with still a lot of puppy energy so a home with older children would be best. This guy is amazing, and deserves the perfect forever home! He is fully vetted, neutered, and microchipped.  His adoption fee of $500 includes the transport to VA.  We use a licensed and registered USDA transport company that will bring Charleston up north to his new family.   If you have any questions, please email us at:   newbeginnings_animalrescue@yahoo.com You can apply to adopt Charleston  here: www.newbeginningsanimalrescue.net THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING ADOPTING A RESCUED PET!   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 19, 2024, 10:00 am

Story
Introducing May, a resilient and courageous dog who has overcome great adversity in her life. For several months, May found herself wandering the streets, facing the challenges of survival on her own. During this time, she endured a prolapsed vagina, a painful condition that required urgent medical attention. Though people in the neighborhood attempted to help her, her fear and mistrust kept her at a distance. Fortunately, fate intervened when one of our compassionate fosters caught sight of May and recognized the urgency of her situation. With a clever plan involving fries as bait, May was coaxed close enough to be safely captured. Immediately, she was taken to the veterinary clinic, where she underwent surgery to repair her injury. May is now ready for a new chapter in her life, filled with endless love, security, and happiness. If you're searching for a quiet and affectionate canine companion who will steal your heart with a single smile, look no further than May. Come and meet her, and witness the incredible transformation she has undergone. May is waiting with open paws to bring joy and warmth into your life. If May May sounds like she might be the right match for you, or if you want to check out more of our wonderful pets for adoption, please visit ffpets.org to read all about our TN-based rescue and how the adoption and transport process works and to submit your application The adoption fee is $300 and transport is an additional $200 This pet is currently in a foster home in TN and will be transported north after the adoption is complete. Story
Meet our local celebrity, Dora the Explorer! Dora is around 3 years old and she weighs around 58 lbs. Dora was spotted for over 1 year traveling a wide area and numerous concerned citizens became concerned that Dora had lost her way and her family. A group of volunteers made it their mission to rescue Dora. After being caught it was evident that at some point she had a family that loved her because she knew many commands and was proving to be a very intelligent girl. Dora is very playful. She bonds to her humans very quickly and would just love to be a couch potato when she is not out in the yard entertaining herself or having fun playing fetch. Her foster family has several older dogs and Dora seems fine with them, however, Dora would do great as well, as a single dog family because she loves her people! Any questions about her can be answered by her foster mom and we can put you in touch with her. Dora is ready to travel when the perfect home is found for her. Story
Meet the charming Remy, believed to be around 6 years old and discovered as a stray. This 35-pound brindle bulldog is an absolute sweetheart with a gentle and quiet demeanor. Remy is fully vetted, microchipped, and ready to embark on a new chapter in a loving fur-ever home. All he desires for Christmas and the New Year is a caring family to call his own. Dog-friendly and people-friendly, Remy yearns for someone to love him and provide the stability he deserves. Despite having once belonged to someone, he found himself alone and unwanted, perilously close to being euthanized when our rescue intervened. Now, the focus is on finding Remy the perfect forever-loving home where he can thrive. If Remy has captured your heart and you are interested in offering him a home, please visit our website: https://Serendipityanimalrescue.org for more information, application, or to make an inquiry.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Melo has never had a home of his own. The Furever Project basically saved Melo from the jaws of death as he was getting ready to be euthanized. Melo gets along with other dogs of various sizes. He lives with several dogs in his foster home. He has been introduced to cats and seemed to do well with them. If an applicant has cats, Melo will need to meet them to see if everyone gets along. Melo also does well with children. He lives with a little human who is under 2-years old. Melo is very smart and learns quickly. His foster mom is a trainer and Melo has perfected all the basic commands (sit, down, watch me, leave it, stay, a release command, wait and come). Also, in April 2023, Melo successfully completed a positive reinforcement board and train. At almost 3-years old, Melo is an energetic dog and needs an active vs. a sedentary lifestyle. He would enjoy, and be most successful living with, an active individual or family. He loves being outdoors and would be a great hiking partner, running partner, or a dedicated long distance walking partner. If you’re not a hiker, runner, or long-distance walker……. regular daily walks, playing fetch, chasing a frisbee, or other outdoor activities would also do the trick to successfully lower Melo’s energy. Melo does need a home where he will get strong, consistent direction and follow through. Melo is comfortable and quiet being in a crate and with a simple command “crate” goes in and out with ease and he is completely housebroken. If Melo sounds like he'd be a good fit for your home, please apply to adopt him today!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 18, 2024, 12:09 pm
