Story
Kung Lao is a purebred American Bully, there wasn't an option for his breed, but I just thought everyone should know for clarification. He is very active and does require a lot of exercise, he loves to jump to show how excited he is. My favorite thing about him is how derpy his little face is. Just look at him! He knows how to sit, lay down, touch or boop, under, and wait is still in progress. Kung Lao LOVES to be around people, if he is not the center of attention he will whine or let you know to give him some love or when it's time to take him outside. He gets along with other dogs and sometimes plays chase, but he acts like a little chicken if someone acts as alpha. He does have eczema so he has sensitive skin, I tried to use coconut oil for it and it's somewhat worked, but I think there could be better options. My landlord is no longer allowing dogs in the building, I don't have any more options besides rehoming him. I just want him to be in a home where he is loved

Story
Do you have an intense passion about the things you love? Me, too! My name is Percy, I'm estimated to be a 4 year old bulldog mix, and I weigh in at about 50lbs. I get along with the other dogs in my foster home, although I am a pretty intense fellow, so my forever doggy siblings would need to be okay with me annoying them sometimes. I can't help it - I love everyone! I haven't met a cat yet, but I have a minimal prey drive, so it's assumed I'll do just fine with a proper introduction. Because of my strength and zest for life, kids 12+ for me, please! I'm a very happy guy. I love kisses on my big noggin and getting snuggles. Chewing on bones, tearing apart stuffies, and chasing my ball are a few of my favorite things. I've lived on the streets most of my life, so my new family will need to be patient with me, and give me the time I need to feel safe and secure in my new home. I spent so long fighting to survive, it's hard for me to understand that you got me, and all I need to do is be the happy, goofy dude I was meant to be. Bully breed experience is required for my adopter.

Story
Hello! My name is Winchester! I am a fun-loving, big, goofy boy that came to the shelter as a stray. I am now in need of a home that will give me the exercise, love, and attention I deserve! I am so sweet with everyone, but I am pretty jumpy and strong, so I would do best in a home that is willing to give me structure, training, and that can handle a big boy like me! I would be okay with kids too, but ideally, they would be older and are used to dogs jumping and possible knocking them over on accident. I do not seem to have an issue with other dogs, but I may be too much for some dogs out there, so a proper introduction to any new dogs I meet would be a necessity! I am so much fun to play with! My little trot when I am playing out in the yard is so entertaining and cute! I would love to have someone that will take me for walks and play with me to my heart's content! Think that could be you? Come meet me at the shelter! Primary Color: White Secondary Color: Brown Brindle Weight: 64.31 Age: 3yrs 7mths 0wks

Check out our Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok for more pictures & videos of our adoptable dogs!Updated: 11/17/24 Dog Name: Peter Sex: Male Neuter Status: Neutered Estimated Breed Mix: Boxer Mix Approximate Age: 1.5 Years Approximate Weight: 56 lbs Adoption Fee: $300 Description: Peter is a sweet boy who was owned by a family who travels a lot, unfortunately they never came for him, and he was an inside dog. I have a beautiful mixed brown coat with white socks and an off-centered stripe on my face. I don't talk much but I might whine for a bit if you leave and don't take me along, I don't want to be left behind again! I am quite content playing on my own and will play a bit with a squeaky toy or a bone. I will fetch, but I do get bored rather quickly.  I am eager to please and will put myself in a timeout if you tell me I'm naughty for, well, for doing something I guess I shouldn't have done. I take treats nicely and am learning to sit and wait for my meals. I like other dogs but am 50/50 on cats. They are quite interesting. I love to go outside and go for walks. I am always on the lookout for deer. This sweet boy is playful and loves affection! I am searching for my family! Could that be with you?        We are a Wisconsin state licensed dog rescue -WI# 402433   ***We do not have a central adoption center at this time. All our dogs are in private foster homes within WI. At this time we only place our dogs in areas of WI. The breed of our dogs is our best guess with the help of our veterinarians. Our Weight Classes are as follows: 0- 25lbs - Small 26- 45lbs - Medium 46-89 - Large 90+ X-large If you are adopting an adult dog, which we consider 6 months of age or older, your adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper shots, dewormed, flea & tick preventative, heartworm tested and microchipped. If you are adopting a dog younger than 6 months of age, the dog will be up to date on the shots as per the dogs age. The dog will be dewormed, flea/tick preventative and microchipped. We only spay/neuter our dogs once they're at least 6 months old. If you decide to adopt a younger dog than 6 months, they will need to be spayed/neutered by your veterinarian when they are between 6 to 8 months old. Proof that the spay/neuter has been completed will need to be submitted to Tailwaggers911. Once proof of the spay/neuter has been received, we will refund $100 of your adoption fee via Venmo, PayPal or have a check in the mail within 15 days. Once you are approved with our rescue, you can meet any one of our dogs within the fosters home. If you are interested in the dog you met, you can take the dog home under our mandatory foster to adopt program. You receive 5 days to see if the dog is the right fit for your home. If it is, we will conduct the home visit and finalize adoption. If it is not, it is returned to the foster. We are happy to find you another dog that meets your needs in your home. If a dog is listed as ADOPTION IN PROCESS, a family has met the dog and planning on adopting the dog after the home visit has been conducted. We always suggest sending in an application for a dog because there are times where the dogs are given back to us under the foster to adopt program. There are many reasons dogs are returned but normally it just was not the right fit for all. Please go to WWW.TAILWAGGERS911.COM under HOW TO ADOPT . We have an online application that is very easy to fill out. January 4, 2025, 7:30 pm

Check out our Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok for more pictures & videos of our adoptable dogs! Updated: 11/24/2024 Dog Name: Trooper (was Griffin when he first arrived in WI) Sex: Male Litter: GJ Litter Estimated Breed Mix: Boxer Mix Approximate DOB: 3/3/24 Approximate Weight: 58 lbs. Neuter Status: Trooper has been neutered Description: Trooper (originally his name was Griffin) first came to Wisconsin as an ~8 week old puppy. He was adopted quickly, but is now being surrendered back to the rescue. His adopter feels that they aren't the right match for each other, as he doesn't seem to enjoy things that she does, like camping.   Trooper loves people, kids, and cats. He is a very playful boy who will even play with the cat! He loves tug-of-war, fetch, and to chase his tail. He's still a puppy, so he's still got puppy energy. At times he can be a couch potato who loves to cuddle too. He's a food motivated boy, which should help his next adopter when continuing his training.  Thus far in his training, he knows sit, down, leave it, off, stay, walk, and heel. He's also housebroken.   The first picture is of him today, the others are of him as a puppy and his parents.
