Story
Toby is an 11 year old (birth date 12/4/13) mix breed who weighs around 35 lbs. DNA tests said his mother was a purebred cocker spaniel and his father was a mix of chow and husky. He gets along well with people and is very affectionate. He tends to be nervous especially around loud noises and vacuums. He does not like to be in a kennel. When we leave for work, he does not roam the house but stays in the primary bedroom. Toby has been neutered. Toby is gentle but sometimes has his old man attitude (think yelling at kids "get off my lawn"). Toby does well with walks. Not too long as he is getting older. He sleeps a good part of the day and can be at home without a potty break during a typical work day. My family and I are facing a situation where we, unfortunately, need to surrender Toby as well as our two other dogs. We have no issues with their behavior; it’s purely due to our busy schedules and an upcoming move that we feel we cannot provide the care and attention they deserve.
