Here is Bori🐶💕 who was rescued from a Mass Dog Slaughterhouse with other 101 friends. Bori has a million-dollar smile so he was given a nick name, “Smiley Bori.” He has a gentle heart. When a volunteer forgot to give Bori a special treat, “Cow Horn Snack,” he did not complain and just watched his friends’ happiness of having their treats with longing expression on his face. 😉 With his sweetness, Bori would make a great addition to any home! He's in professional training school to learn basics. He will be a great fit to your home😊

Story
We got him in 2019 from the LA Animal shelter and he was 10 months. First of all, he’s really sweet. He love chasing the ball and lazing around. He like to cuddle and give you a single nose lick when he’s feeling affection sort. That being said He’s a complicated dog with a significant bite history. After several attempts at training (he was our first dog we didn’t know what we were doing) the vet suggested Prozac. That and moving to a place with a yard really helped him and he changed a lot. We got a puppy 3 years ago and they get along well. Only problem now is We’re having a baby and we don’t think we have have him around a newborn. We love him a lot and this is very hard but unfortunately we have to rehome him.

Story
Meet Parker, a beautiful American Eskimo mix with a heart full of love to give. Parker's journey has been a bit bumpy, but he's ready to find his forever home where he can feel safe and cherished. Parker was previously adopted but came back to us when his owner could no longer care for him. Since then, he's been adjusting to his new environment and showing his true colors. He loves just being present next to his foster parent and enjoys long walks, especially in the cooler morning and evening hours. Parker gravitates to one person and is very loyal and protective of that person. He is also slowly warming up to new people, showing his gentle and cautious nature. Parker would thrive in a home with someone who is retired or has plenty of time to spend with him. He doesn't have a concept of play yet and is still learning what to do with balls and dog toys, but with patience and love, he may start to enjoy these activities. Parker shows signs of past trauma, like whimpering in his sleep and twitching, so he needs a compassionate and understanding owner who can provide a calm and stable environment. If you're looking for a loyal companion who will be by your side through thick and thin, Parker is the perfect match. Give Parker the loving home he deserves, and you'll gain a faithful friend for life. Prospective adopters should fill out an application on our website. Let's help Parker find his forever family!

Story
Name: 마음 (Maeum) Age: Estimated 3 years old Gender: Male Weight: 13 lbs Breed: Mixed breed Neutered: Neutered (recovered from heartworm) Vaccination: Completed 4th round Relationship with Adults: Maeum is a bit fearful of all adults, but he particularly loves female humans. He has experienced trauma from male humans, so he needs more time to build trust with them. He's been living in a foster home for 8 months, and he's still afraid of men, but with patience, he will likely adjust well. Relationship with Children: Maeum is scared of children as they have thrown stones at him in the past. However, he doesn't reject their touch and can get along with children in the same household. Relationship with Other Dogs: He is not very interested in other dogs and can be fearful of both large and small dogs. Sometimes he may show interest in bigger dogs if they have a similar body language, but caution is advised as he's still learning social skills. Relationship with Cats: Maeum is also scared of cats but doesn't pay much attention to them. He is a considerate and gentle dog, so he may get along well with cats once he's familiar with them. House Training: Initially, Maeum may do some marking until he fully adjusts, but currently, he has no bathroom accidents. He tends to lift his leg and urinate, so using longer pee pads against the wall is a good idea. Energy Level: He is extremely gentle and timid, not prone to accidents or mischief. He is quite fearful of loud noises and toys that make noise. Separation Anxiety/Barking: Maeum has some separation anxiety because he loves human interaction. He may show signs of it in the first few minutes but can wait quietly when left alone. He rarely barks, except when he's happy to see people. Affection and Petting: He loves being petted and cuddled. Walking: Maeum enjoys walks and walks calmly. He may be uncomfortable in unfamiliar places or around loud noises, especially when children are playing with balls nearby. Escape Possibility: Maeum doesn't try to leave the side of those he trusts (typically females). There's very little chance of him running away, but caution is advised when outside. Rescue Story: Maeum spent a long time as a stray dog, living in a large open space with other dogs. He endured harsh weather conditions, facing extreme cold in winter and scorching sun in summer. He had no shelter and had to deal with mosquito swarms every evening. Despite this, he greeted people who came to feed him, but some cruel individuals cut his leash and chased him away. A few days later, he was found at a shelter, rescued, and brought to safety. He's an incredibly sweet dog despite the hardships he's faced. Please note that Maeum's past experiences have left him with some fears and anxieties, so it's essential to provide him with a patient and loving environment to help him heal and adjust. Please apply at www.welcomepawsrescue.org. This pet is currently in Korea but can fly to Lax, JFK, DFW, Chicago, SFO, SeaTac, DC, Boston, ATL, Vancouver and Toronto upon the adoption.

Story
Buddy here! Age: 8 years young Neutered and vaccinated. Good on a leash Love to walk. (New foster needed) Buddy was found as a stray April 23, 2023, in South Gate, Ca. under neglected conditions. His coat was completely matted and was full of feces and urine. His nails were so long and bloody that he was no longer able to walk properly because of the pain. When Buddy was found he was terrified of people. No one could get near him because he would react. It's been over a year since Buddy was found and sheltered. Sadly no one claimed him. He was recently assessed by a professional trainer and Buddy showed potential to be adopted by an understanding family willing to have patience for him. Buddy is looking for a low traffic home, preferably no kids. Buddy can be a bit scared at first, but he is all in once he opens up! He absolutely loves walks and to run at the park. #adoptaseniorpet Please consider adopting a senior dog. Buddy deserves to know what it is like to have a loving and caring family! Buddy hopes to meet you soon!
