Bella's owner passed away so Bella needs a new home. She is a senior female Eskie at 14 years old. Bella was treated like a queen at her home. While Bella's owner was in Hospice Care, Bella stayed with her Mom at her bedside. Bella is very sweet but she needs someone who understands this breed. She's friendly but can be protective but if you call her "bluff," she just wants to be petted! Bella is a charming little gal around 12-13 pounds so she is small. If you would like more information, please call 314-647-1112 or info@eskierescuestl.org - Bella needs a home!! Thank you.

Story
Jax is a two-year-old American Eskimo. He is high energy and will need a fenced yard. Jax is 28 pounds and considered a standardized Eskimo. Jax was an owner surrender as his family was not interested in keeping him. Jax spent most of his time outside. He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and a bit of a snuggled bug. Jax is a little shy at first but warms up nicely. He is scared of small children so no small children for Jax. He will need a consistent routine and some work on his house manners. Jax is a lovely and happy guy!

Story
Welcome Zappa! This is the little guy from Columbia, MO. He is about 17 pounds and around 6-7 years old. Zappa was found as a stray. Zappa is shy/timid and slow to get used to new people. He’s just scared but no aggression. He is learning to walk on a leash. Someone with patience will need to adopt this boy and be careful with him until he gets to know his people and his situation. A fenced yard will be needed. He is very, very sweet and will learn quickly. He is a curious little guy too. If you are interested in adopting this boy, please call 314-647-1112, email info@eskierescuestl.org or submit an application at www.eskierescuestl.org – thank you!

Story
Yeti loves being around his owners getting attention, kisses, and cuddles. He is very happy, high-spirited, affectionate, and loyal. Yeti is very active and requires a lot of exercise, so it would be best to have a fenced in yard where he can run around, play, and get socialization. As an American Eskimo breed, Yeti is very beautiful, intelligent, trainable, and alert. He does have anxiety, can be wary of strangers and protective of his home. He also tolerates other dogs as he gets familiar with them, but he definitely prefers human attention. You will have to move slow with Yeti at first, and then once he adapts and learns to trust you, he will be your best friend! Yeti has also had pet training through The Dog Wizard in St. Louis, and he has optional group trainings on weekends which are free to him for the rest of his life!
