Here is Bori🐶💕 who was rescued from a Mass Dog Slaughterhouse with other 101 friends. Bori has a million-dollar smile so he was given a nick name, “Smiley Bori.” He has a gentle heart. When a volunteer forgot to give Bori a special treat, “Cow Horn Snack,” he did not complain and just watched his friends’ happiness of having their treats with longing expression on his face. 😉 With his sweetness, Bori would make a great addition to any home! Story
This handsome Eskimo/Heeler mix boy is called Spock and he is a charming  2 year old that is a perfect size at just 45 pounds.  This special, young dog was found as a stray and the lady who found him adored his unique look and wonderful personality.  But sadly this loving rescue lady has had to admit that her health is just not stable enough to give him a long term life and home with her.  She is sacrificing this sweet boy to give him a chance at a forever home that will give him a great life for the next 10+ years.  Spock is very smart, alert, affectionate, loyal and fun dog to have around.  Due to the blend of breeds, he is called an Aussimo – a good mixture of both breeds.  He is housetrained, walks well on a leash, and is a true cuddle buddy. Spock is neutered, UTD on vaccinations, HW prevention, microchipped and a healthy boy.  He is good with children and gets along nicely  with other dogs.  This stunning boy is ready today for his forever home. Please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comAugust 18, 2024, 12:50 pm

Rain is an incredibly sweet and sensitive dog. He was rescued from a dog meat farm in South Korea and has been in foster for a year after receiving lots of TLC which has now made him so ready for a forever home. Rain has learned to love toys and be silly with his humans and doggy siblings. He is very quiet but has found his confidence in his foster home and will sometimes let out a playful bark. Rain needs be in a home with another dog. He loves the company of them and also enjoys playing with non-alpha dogs. Rain also needs to be with people who aren't setting expectations on him. He will take a little time to show his true beautiful and silly personality but once he knows he is safe and loved, he will surely show his playful side.

Story
Name: 마음 (Maeum) Age: Estimated 3 years old Gender: Male Weight: 13 lbs Breed: Mixed breed Neutered: Neutered (recovered from heartworm) Vaccination: Completed 4th round Relationship with Adults: Maeum is a bit fearful of all adults, but he particularly loves female humans. He has experienced trauma from male humans, so he needs more time to build trust with them. He's been living in a foster home for 8 months, and he's still afraid of men, but with patience, he will likely adjust well. Relationship with Children: Maeum is scared of children as they have thrown stones at him in the past. However, he doesn't reject their touch and can get along with children in the same household. Relationship with Other Dogs: He is not very interested in other dogs and can be fearful of both large and small dogs. Sometimes he may show interest in bigger dogs if they have a similar body language, but caution is advised as he's still learning social skills. Relationship with Cats: Maeum is also scared of cats but doesn't pay much attention to them. He is a considerate and gentle dog, so he may get along well with cats once he's familiar with them. House Training: Initially, Maeum may do some marking until he fully adjusts, but currently, he has no bathroom accidents. He tends to lift his leg and urinate, so using longer pee pads against the wall is a good idea. Energy Level: He is extremely gentle and timid, not prone to accidents or mischief. He is quite fearful of loud noises and toys that make noise. Separation Anxiety/Barking: Maeum has some separation anxiety because he loves human interaction. He may show signs of it in the first few minutes but can wait quietly when left alone. He rarely barks, except when he's happy to see people. Affection and Petting: He loves being petted and cuddled. Walking: Maeum enjoys walks and walks calmly. He may be uncomfortable in unfamiliar places or around loud noises, especially when children are playing with balls nearby. Escape Possibility: Maeum doesn't try to leave the side of those he trusts (typically females). There's very little chance of him running away, but caution is advised when outside. Rescue Story: Maeum spent a long time as a stray dog, living in a large open space with other dogs. He endured harsh weather conditions, facing extreme cold in winter and scorching sun in summer. He had no shelter and had to deal with mosquito swarms every evening. Despite this, he greeted people who came to feed him, but some cruel individuals cut his leash and chased him away. A few days later, he was found at a shelter, rescued, and brought to safety. He's an incredibly sweet dog despite the hardships he's faced. Please apply at www.welcomepawsrescue.org. This pet is currently in Korea but can fly to Lax, JFK, DFW, Chicago, SFO, SeaTac, DC, Boston, ATL, Vancouver and Toronto upon the adoption. Please note that Maeum's past experiences have left him with some fears and anxieties, so it's essential to provide him with a patient and loving environment to help him heal and adjust.

Story
Thor-tin is an 11 year old Pomeranian mix who weighs about 21 lbs. He is completely up to date on vaccines and prevention as well as neutered. Thor is great with kids and anyone and everyone. He's also good with cats and most dogs but he doesn't like larger dogs around his face. His foster parents pet sit so Thor has been around 100 lb. dogs - he does well as long as they are not in his face. Even then, all he does is growl and walk away.  Thor is potty trained and crate trained - he has the whole run of the house but sometimes we crate him if necessary. He can walk on a leash but can pull a little. He's even good for the groomer! Thor's family is going through a divorce and the husband is not reliable while the wife will be taking care of their autistic son. Thor is looking for a wonderful home where he can enjoy the rest of his life.  If you'd like to give Thor a loving, safe forever home, please fill out an adoption application at www.northstarpets.org and be sure to ask for him by name, THOR-TIN TX!August 17, 2024, 11:40 am

Story
Oakley, is a very social, sweet, adorable little male Pomeranian that loves to be held and loves to snuggle. This 5-pound little guy was born on 11/19/21. He was born with malformed knees, also called stifles, which cause him to move with somewhat lowered hindquarters like he is getting ready to sit or squat. However, this does not slow him down and when he hears his name called, he comes running. Oakley is up to date on vaccinations, neutered, microchipped, had a dental, tested heartworm negative and is being kept on heartworm and flea & tick prevention to maintain his good health. Due to his small size he will not be considered for homes with small children. Oakley is located in Arkansas. His adoption donation is $965 which includes the $165 transport fee. If you would like to adopt Oakley, please complete the first step in the adoption process by filling out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here.
