This handsome Eskimo/Heeler mix boy is called Spock and he is a charming  2 year old that is a perfect size at just 45 pounds.  This special, young dog was found as a stray and the lady who found him adored his unique look and wonderful personality.  But sadly this loving rescue lady has had to admit that her health is just not stable enough to give him a long term life and home with her.  She is sacrificing this sweet boy to give him a chance at a forever home that will give him a great life for the next 10+ years.  Spock is very smart, alert, affectionate, loyal and fun dog to have around.  Due to the blend of breeds, he is called an Aussimo – a good mixture of both breeds.  He is housetrained, walks well on a leash, and is a true cuddle buddy. Spock is neutered, UTD on vaccinations, HW prevention, microchipped and a healthy boy.  He is good with children and gets along nicely  with other dogs.  This stunning boy is ready today for his forever home. **UPDATE 17 MAY 2024: Toby up for adoption again. He has his shots and vaccinations now too! He’s still healthy and running about.** Toby was picked up from a family member 2 years ago after nobody else wanted to take him. However, due to my personal issues, it’s become increasingly difficult for me to take care of him. I have a very short timeline on keeping him. **TOBY DOES HAVE A BITE HISTORY. HE DOES NOT ACT UP UNLESS YOU ARE INTENTIONALLY AGGRESSIVE TOWARDS HIM. PLEASE KEEP THIS IN MIND. You can ask me further details if you still plan to follow through. Toby had surgery when he was around 1 year old for his left leg. The adoption fee is to partially cover the costs of vaccinations.

Story
Beautiful Chanel found herself in a hard spot a few months back, she was heaven pregnant and homeless. She ended up in a shelter and fortunately foster was found and she was able to safely raise her litter. They have all headed up further north for homes and she is now spayed and ready to adopt. She is a super friendly dog with people and is working hard on her training and manners now that she isn’t raising puppies. Her leash skills and basics will come quickly with regular work. She is very neat and was a breeze to housebreak but enjoys her crate for quiet time. Rides well in a car and brave in new surroundings she should adjust to a wide range of homes. Nice medium size she is athletic and would be a fun jogging or walking partner as well. She does have a prey drive. This could soften with time but we recommend a home with no cats or small dogs. She does best with similar size or larger male dogs and can be picky about her female friends. Again, she just raised a litter and spent time loose so these faults could lessen with time and training. When she does meet a dog she likes she plays well and enjoys wresting and chase. She is located in Warrenton VA and available to meet anytime.
