Story
Sarina ParisTiny but full of love, Sarina Paris is a small, mixed-breed sweetheart weighing12 lbs. She has the wrinkles and curly tail of a pug, the wide eyes of a Chihuahua, and a slender build reminiscent of perhaps a terrier or a Gazelle! She has a beautiful coat in shades of the darkest chocolate, milk chocolate, and caramel!
She needs to gain another pound or two to be at a healthy weight. This young mama raised a litter of 6 puppies and is now ready to find an adoring forever home where you will be her #1 fan and she will be yours! The world is pretty scary for this pretty, wide-eyed gal.
Angel Inside
Though timid at first, Sarina is a gentle soul craving affection and understanding. She's been through a lot She’s been through a lot—she was a devoted mama nursing six puppies after being rescued from a hoarding house situaiton. Now, it’s her turn to be cared for and loved the way she deserves. With patience and kindness, Sarina will blossom into the most loyal and affectionate companion. Could you be the one to show her that love goes both ways?
After decompressing for a few days, Sarina began to settle in to her foster family's routine. She is uncertain about quick movements and is slowly making new friends who offer her treats and let her climb on their laps when she's ready to do so. The world is big and scary for Sarina, but that doesn't stop her from seeking out cuddles from anyone hanging out on the couch and starting to carry around dog toys and follow her canine foster sibling around the house!
A Perfect Home
Sarina's perfect home will include another happy, calm, confident dog to help her find her footing as she keeps adjusting to having a pampered pet's life. Her family will understand that she will need a little more time than most rescued pets to settle into her routine and learn to trust her new family. After a week in her foster home, Sarina went on her first walk. She likes to trot around the neighborhood and take it all in! She's still learning her leash habits and is a little bit of a trip hazard, as she startles easily. Garbage trucks, bikes, and passing cars are all things she studies cautiously before continuing on her walks. Sarina sleeps in her crate at night, eats her meals in her crate, and has pretty good potty habits when she is taken out regularly (about 4 times a day for now). She enjoys curling up on the couch or in a dog bed and is quick to follow you to the kitchen for treats! She would love a home that's on the less chaotic side where people are home more than they are not (but wouldn't we all!) and where she can regularly cuddle with her people.
Sarina will make friends quickly with those who come bearing treats, a heaping dose of patience, and the understanding that you'll get her trust much faster if you sit down and let her come to you on her terms. When her foster family comes home, she greets them with happy bounces and tail wags -- her personality gets a little bit bolder, more relaxed, and more playful with each passing day. She deserves a forever home that will give her the time and space she needs to relax. Your patience will go a tremendously long way in giving this tentative pup a home where she can glow up into her best self!
Sarina's foster family is working to slowly introduce her to all the good things in a dog's life: neighborhood walks, making new people and animal friends, playing with toys (she like to chase balls and stuffies), and letting her perfect her zoomies in a securely fenced-in yard.
This pet has been spayed/neutered and is ready to be adopted.
All dogs/puppies will be spayed/neutered unless spay/neuter contract is signed with additional deposit.
