Story
Meet Bunny, a sweet 9-month-old girl weighing 48.2 lbs. Bunny is a bit skittish and nervous, but once she feels safe and comfortable, she’s incredibly sweet and loving. She gets along well with other dogs and would thrive in a home with a confident doggy sibling who can help her gain confidence and show her the ropes. Bunny needs a patient family who understands her need for a slow introduction and a calm environment. Her adoption fee is $110, which includes her first set of vaccines (rabies, distemper, parvo) and her spay surgery. If you’re ready to offer Bunny the patience and love she deserves, please call 256-362-5856 to schedule an appointment!

Story
Mace is a little over 1 years old, I adopted him last February but due to some recent changes in life I can not afford to keep him. He is very loving and will take all the attention he can get. He can be a bit stubborn, but nothing too bad. My biggest struggle has been getting him to walk on a leash. If he does not want to do it he will just sit on the ground and force all of his weight down. I would love for him to have another dog to play with and a yard since that is what he is used to. Him going to a loving home though is my biggest concern. He is very easily excited and not aggressive. Does not bark much if at all. If around other dog, he will bark if they bark. He is a chewer so you have to be careful what you leave around him. He loves doing tricks, he understands: sit, lay down, paw, and other paw. All in all he’s super loving and just purely wants everyone’s attention on him. There is no fee for him, I just want him to go to a loving home.

Meet Spot! Spot is a one-year-old pittie with a playful spirit. This happy boy adores other dogs and would love a furry friend to romp around with. If given the chance, he’ll gladly curl up in your lap for some snuggles—he’s the perfect mix of energetic and affectionate! Spot is crate trained, house trained, and even waits politely by his crate for dinner. Despite being abandoned on a dirt road, he greeted his rescuer with nothing but friendliness and trust. Now, he’s ready to find a forever home where he’ll be cherished. Pitties are often overlooked, but Spot is truly one of a kind. Story
Meet Rip! ♥️ This big ole baby is a 3 year old pit bull. Rip loves snuggling up on the couch with you while you’re watching tv. He loves his two foster brothers and loves playing outside with them. When his brothers aren’t giving him any attention he entertains his self with toys or finds a comfy spot to take a nap. Rip is a very mellow boy and mostly low maintenance. He enjoys spending most of his time snuggled up somewhere sleeping soundly. He loves everyone he meets and loves his person a little extra special. Rip does not like being alone very long as he does have a tad bit of separation anxiety. He is very food motivated… will do just about anything for a treat! Rip would be best in a home with no children or older children, as sometimes he forgets how big he actually is. Rip can't wait to meet his new family. 🎉

Story
Meet Kate – Your Future Best Friend! Mama Kate and her adorable baby boy, Brompton, wandered onto the property of a kind-hearted Good Samaritan, most likely after being abandoned. Despite her past, Kate has the most hilarious personality, which contrasts with her adorably serious, stoic expressions. This sweet girl is house-trained and crate-trained, but she’s so well-behaved that she can be trusted to roam freely at home. She’ll follow you around with her big, soulful eyes, silently begging for love and affection. Kate is heartworm positive, but she has already started treatment with antibiotics and preventative care. (Heart worm is not contagious as long as dogs stay on preventatives!) Her adoption fee has been lowered, so she can be adopted and begin her journey in her forever home while going through slow kill heart worm treatment provided by the rescue. She is great with dogs of all ages and sizes, loves kids, and welcomes all visitors with her gentle, loving nature. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who will bring laughter and love into your home, Kate is your girl. Please consider giving Kate the cozy bed and forever home she deserves—you won’t regret it!
