Story
Hamilton has been my bestfriend since before I had my daughter. He helped me find sobriety and stay sober. Losing him is losing a piece of myself. He deserves more than what I can give anymore due to the fact insurance won’t allow him to stay here in my house anymore. I can’t afford the premium. My landlord won’t pay it either. I don’t know any other options. Hamilton has been a solid dog for my three year old. He has grown up with her and is great around children. Very protective. We have to do a meet and greet for him as he has only been with me his whole life.

Pongo is a one-year-old male dog who weighs 35lbs and is an adorable blend of pit and Dalmatian. He may be small in size, but his love and personality are larger than life. His activity level is the perfect mix of chill and playful. He loves to lounge around and cuddle, but also enjoys a game of fetch or a walk around the neighborhood. Pongo has also been described as the ultimate best friend and lover. He craves human affection and will stick by your side through thick and thin. Story
Hello everyone. My name is Jaxon. My birthday is on January 7th. I was rescued as a stray by Animal Control and brought to Second Chance Shelter in Boaz Alabama on January 7, 2021. I have been at the shelter since I was a year old . I want to be the King of the house so I need to be the only dog. I love people and giving them all kinds of lovings. If you are looking for a dog to give unconditional love and attention, I'm the furbaby for you. I know how to sit, on occasion, and I can wait pretty patiently for my food. My friends here at the shelter love to visit me and I trade kisses for treats. I think I am pretty good at giving kisses.

Story
🐾 Meet Colt: Your New Best Friend! 🐾 Introducing Colt, a laid-back 3-year-old Pitt who’s just looking for a couch of his very own! Colt is one of the easiest-going boys in the shelter, never making a peep or bothering anyone or anything. Even when he sees kittens playing, he simply looks and continues on his way, making it possible for him to be introduced to a new cat sibling in his forever home! Colt’s easygoing nature extends to everything he does, including his walks. He’s never in a rush and is always ready for a break when you are, making him perfect for a home that enjoys more family time rather than hiking adventures. He’s not a chewer and would much rather you surprise him with a new blanket than a toy! One thing Colt loves is treats, and he’s just as gentle taking them, so there’s no need to worry if your toddler slips him some cheese now and then. Colt is unbothered by any of the dogs in the shelter, whether they’re male, female, young, or old. While he does take some interest in the ladies, he doesn’t get overexcited! Colt came into the shelter already fixed, but unfortunately, he didn’t have a microchip. We assume he has been in a home before as he tries his best to keep his kennel as clean as he can.
