She is a very sweet dog. Very high energy, inquisitive. Super smart and stubborn. She plays well with other big dogs, over enthusiastic with small dogs and small children. does not do well with cats. She is a about 2 1/2 years old. She is a velcro dog. She sticks to you. We got her from the shelter in Idaho Falls. She does well with older children. She requires an active home with an experienced owner. She does not resource guard. Amiah is scared of the dark when alone. She is TERRIFIED of fireworks.

Story
I'm Indi, a super sweet and affectionate 1.5-year-old lab mix, and I'm on the lookout for my forever home! If you’re searching for a loving companion who thrives on attention, then I might just be the perfect fit for you! I have a ton of energy and love to play, which makes me an excellent running partner! Whether it's a brisk jog or a fun game of fetch, I’m ready to keep you moving and smiling. I’m still young, so I have a lot of potential to be the best dog ever, but I could really use a family who will help me with some training. I promise to work hard to learn all the good stuff! I’m great with kids and I like some dogs & others aren’t my favorite. I do think I prefer male dogs but we can meet and see if we can make magic happen! I can’t wait to join in on family adventures or playdates at the park. I haven’t met any cats yet, but I’m open to introductions, as I ran into the cat room once and didn’t react!

Story
Oh, you’re looking for a dog? How about me, a four-year-old Pit Bull/Border Collie mix with the energy of a toddler after 1/2 can of Red Bull? That’s right...it’s not even the whole can! I’ve only got an energy level that is 7 out of 10 & the staff thinks that I will calm down once I’m in a home (if someone will just give me a chance...even for a sleepover?). I love balls, frisbees, & anything that involves you paying attention to me. If you throw something, I will chase it. Will I bring it back? That’s between me and my mood at the time. Oh, and if you’re not ready for 50 pounds of pure enthusiasm jumping all over you the second you walk through the door, well… tough. That’s how I show love. Good news: I’m smart. Bad news: That means I know exactly how to manipulate you with my big, adorable eyes. I already know "sit," "stay," and "kennel"—but don’t get too cocky, because I’ll conveniently “forget” if there’s something more interesting happening. On the bright side, I’m super food motivated! Just don’t try to slip me any chicken unless you want to see what a dog allergy meltdown looks like. Fancy, right? I get along with dogs, cats, and kids, but let’s be real—your lightweight little 5-year-old might not appreciate me bulldozing them out of excitement, so maybe stick with kids who won’t fall down when I show them my zest for life. Look, if you want “boring,” move along. But if you’re ready for an affectionate, high-energy, slightly dramatic best friend who’s down for adventures (and treats—don’t forget the treats), then let’s do this. Adopt me...unless you want to miss out on a lot of love and personality!

Story
Hey there, I’m Peter! I’m a 2-year-old Pit Bull mix, and I’m full of love, energy, and playfulness. I’m the kind of dog who’s always ready for action—I LOVE balls and toys of all kinds, so if you’re looking for a playmate, I’m your guy! I’ve got a lot of energy to burn, so I’ll need a big yard to run around in. I’ve even been known to clear a 6-foot kennel (yep, I’m that athletic) when I’m super excited, so my new home will definitely need a fence taller than that to keep me safe. I’m sweet and affectionate and love being around people. I’m not quite housetrained yet, but I’m treat motivated and super eager to learn, so I’m ready to work on that with you! I already know “sit” and am really motivated by treats, so I’ll catch on quickly to any training you’d like to do. I do have a little quirk—my energy can be a lot, especially when I’m looking for attention! I can be jumpy (again, I just want some love!) and might accidentally knock over smaller kids. So, I think I’d do best in a home with kids 10 and older who can handle my excitement. I’m good with other dogs, but I haven’t had a chance to meet any cats yet, so I’m not sure how I feel about them. But I know I’ll fit right in with a family that has space for me to play and enough energy to keep up with me! If you’re looking for a fun-loving, active, and sweet dog who’s ready to share lots of playtime and love, I’d be so happy to meet you! Let’s go burn off some energy together!

Story
I’m a 5-year-old pit bull with a big heart & tons of positive energy! I’m sweet, loving, & ready to be your best friend forever. If you love going on walks, runs, or just being active in general, I’m your perfect partner. I’m always up for a good time, especially if it involves toys! I absolutely adore them & will keep myself busy for hours playing and tossing them around. But I’m not all just play! I’m protective of my family & have a soft spot for the people I love. I’m super sweet & cuddly once I trust you, but I do like my space sometimes. I’d prefer to be the only pet in the house. I haven’t had issues with other animals, but I just don’t enjoy sharing my space. So if you’re looking for a one-pet home, that’s me! I’m crate-trained & house-trained, so I know how to keep my space clean. When I’m left alone, though, I need to be crated where I feel safe & comfy. I’m a bit of a work in progress on the leash—I'm okay, but sometimes I forget my manners and pull a bit. I’m totally open to learning though, & treats are a great motivator to help me get even better. I already know some commands like "sit," "lay," and "jump" (just raise your hand, and I’ll do it!). I’m very food motivated, so I’m always ready to learn more if you’re patient with me. Oh, and about my boundaries: I don’t like being bothered when I’m eating or resting, so older kids who can respect that are ideal. I’m great with adults & would love a home where I can get plenty of attention and fun, but I do need some quiet time too. If you’re looking for a playful, loving, & protective dog who’s eager to learn and full of energy, I’d love to meet you.
