He is super friendly and active. Loves to play ball, loves to jump. Very healthy, 2 years old. Cannot keep him per landlord. Has bitten a child who came into our home and walked up to him without our supervision. No charges by police as we did nothing wrong. He was confined, no rabies. Child is ok!

Story
🐾 Meet Bug, the Heartthrob Hound! 💖🐕 Hey, pawsome pals! I'm Bug, a stunning fawn and white beauty, around 2 years old, and already living the spayed life. 🌸 With a muscular physique that's sure to turn heads, I'm not just a dog—I'm a canine superstar! ✨ Guess what? I've got the whole housebroken thing down, and I'm a social butterfly, getting along swimmingly with my fellow furry friends. 🐾 To make sure I stay the picture of health, my caretakers are making sure I'm up-to-date on vaccinations. It's a small effort for a lifetime of tail wags and cuddles! 🐶💕 Quick note: While the adoption fee covers lots of goodies, these extra measures (vaccinations) aren't included. So, my future family, get ready to invest in a lifetime of Bug love! 🌈🎁 For those ready to make me their Valentine, our email is on a little break, but fear not! Just give Animal Control a ring at 618-327-9471 or shoot a message on our Facebook Page: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100064739284772 Let's make this Valentine's Day unforgettable—adopt Bug, and let the love fest begin! 💘🐾 #AdoptBug #ValentinesPup #BugLoveBug

Story
We rescued Ruby last July. She is such a sweet 14 month old. At this time we are trying to rehome her because we have a 9 month old puppy that has decided she wants to beat up Ruby if we don't keep then apart. Ruby is spayed. Gets along great with kids and our 5 yr old male. We want to find a good loving home for my sweet girl.

Story
"Hi there! I'm called Rain, because at just 9 months old, I was found chained to a tree in the pouring rain, with only a plastic dog carrier as shelter. I was a bit scared when I got here, but I'm happy now! I absolutely adore belly rubs, treats, and lively games of tug of war with my favorite toy. I am very well behaved because I work with a trainer every week! I must say, I'm doing so well!!! She says I'm incredibly attentive and have learned so much already. These are her exact words: "Rain is VERY sweet and has a strong willingness to please. She is treat motivated, which is great for training. She loves to play fetch and enjoys a good scratch on her chest. She has come a long way and does really well with calm children, men and women. She will probably be good with other dogs, though we definitely need to do a meet-n-greet. She is curious about cats, so we will test her more if folks request that. She does bark when she gets excited, but she has been learning that barking once is enough. She will do best with a family that is willing to continue working with her puppy-like tendencies. There will be free ongoing training sessions from me to whoever adopts her." "Isn't it nice she said all that? We get FREE training! I've already mastered the art of sitting, walk nicely on a leash, and know other manners as well! I'm determined to absorb every bit of love and training, so that I can be the very best little girl in a forever home of my own. Could you be that special family for me?" ........ Story
Words from Baxter himself: Hi! My name is Baxter and I came from a neglectful situation. None-the-less, I am a happy-go-lucky, loving boy. Only about a year old, I LOVE people. I love it when they scratch my chest. I love running to them when they call, and I like walking on a leash. I may pull a bit (BUT I hear the say that I respond to corrections, and will do well with a training collar or no-pull harness.) I'm not a super big dog...kinda short actually, but a beefcake for sure! If you are looking for an outgoing buddy to run with, play with and cuddle with, I'm your guy! I LOVE hoomans! p.s. I'm scared of water. ........ We do ADOPTIONS BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. Send us a message here OR email us at macoupincountyac@gmail.com.
