Meet Parker. This handsome brindle boy is 4 years old. A few years ago he was left in our dog park one morning when we got there. He was adopted for a year and recently returned because he has some anxiety and would do best with someone who is home all the time and someone who can work with him. He does get the nervous pees when he is left home alone. He is currently on anxiety meds to help him out. We were told he lived with a cat and did great with other dogs and kids. He is very sweet and can be a little shy. He loved playing ball and is very food motivated. He is neutered, current on vaccines, and microchipped.

I am around 5.5 years old and I came in with my friend Taz when our owner could no longer keep us where he was living. I am a very sweet and very happy dog. I love people and want nothing more than to have my belly rubbed all day. I am also a very good cuddler. I am good with dogs my size, but I am not good with small dogs or cats. I am also great with kids. I have an old injury to one of my back legs that did not heal properly, so I need to be on a joint supplement and pain meds. Some times if I am too active I will hold it up. I am spayed, current on vaccines, negative for heartworm, and microchipped.

Meet Lady! This pretty girl is a year old and she is a Pitbull/Border Collie/Great Pyrenees mix. She is very sweet, but can be shy in new situations and meeting new people. It doesn’t take her long to warm up and we have noticed she seems more confident when there is an another dog around. She is good with other dogs, but definitely is more dominant. She is not afraid to tell another dog off when she has had enough. She has played in several different play groups and has also lived with a few Chihuahuas in her previous home. She is good with kids and doesn’t seem to mind cats. She is spayed, current on vaccines, and microchipped.

Hi my name is Coal. I am around 4 years old and the staff thinks I am a Lab/Bully mix. I have the sweetest face and I am just as sweet as I look. I came to Almost Home from the pound after I was found on the highway and my owners never came for me. The shelter life is very stressful for me and I would really like to find my forever family. I am good with other dogs, but would do best in a home with no cats. I am a very strong boy and do need to learn some leash manners, but I am VERY food motivated and always willing to learn. When i get excited or nervous I always pick up my favorite toy and carry it around. I am neutered, current on vaccines, negative for heartworm, and microchipped.

Lenny isn't quiet ready to leave be he is ready to find his family!! Someone dumped this defenseless little baby in a park at 4weeks of age (at most) after getting into rescue he tested positive for parvo...he conquered that like the champion he is ....then in fostercare he ate things he shouldn't and had to go back to the vet!!! We do feel he has a very sensitive tummy and he does best on a grain free diet. While in foster they started clicker training with him and he LOVES it!! He's a super smart boy and he needs a person willing to continue training with him so he doesn't grow up to be a naughty turd, entertaining himself in all the ways he sould not. This is the coolest dog...just the freaking coolest!! And sooooo smart, his smarts have gotten him in trouble from day 1. He was turned into a shelter with his sisteras puppies and he was transfered to another shelter. He waited there over a year and was recently moved to out shelter. ***We would LOVE to see him get a job in detection work!!** he loves to work!! He way too smart to be kennels and waiting has been very hard on him. He's very sweet with people just doesn't quite know his size which is why we said not good with children he's not aggressive just more of a bulldozer. Same with other dogs he's ALOT and intense from all the pent up energy. Mr. Waldo has had a really rough life. He was picked up as a stray then lived at another shelter for about a year then moved here. He needs a human that wants to be everything for 1 dog. We know they exist. Waldo loves adventure. Loves to play Loved that Nerf toy before he shredded it.He like humans but to him a human jus5 feeds him and puts him back in a cage. He does not love other animals but he will walk by them, shelter life is just really hard on alot of animals. We do not recommend him to be with small children because he is fast and has a very high drive for his ball and toys he has broke off 3 of his k9 teeth doing this. He is one our SOS list as shelter life is getting alot harder for him and we are seeing him decline. We need a committed adopter to save him and give him a real n life. We would consider a foster that has what he needs. He needs a fenced in yard and a human able to walk him and take him on adventures. Somone willing to give him time and show him want real pet life is and willing to working training.

He has been living with 2 cats, has not been around dogs or children in the last year. Theo needs a home with lots of love and enough energy to keep up with him. And even if they are not true sisters, they sure act like it -they LOVE to run and play together:) Suni is shy until she gets to know you and then look out - her wonderful personality comes busting through! She is a gorgeous gal who keeps her kennel clean and is very attuned to her humans. She`d do best as an only pet, unless it`s with her sister, as she`s not fond of other cats or dogs, but so deserving of a wonderful active home!

But even if they are not true sisters, they sure act like they are - they LOVE to run and play together:) Simone is very sweet once she gets to know you. And gorgeous - those eyes!!! She will melt your heart. Simone loves her pup cups, and is kid tested and grampa tested! She can be very calm and loving to older folks, but also appropriate to younger folks! She would do best as an only pet, unless it`s with her sister, as she`s not fond of other cats or dogs. She`s just a fabulous dog!

Meet Lambeau! He is a 4.5 year old Boxer/Husky mix that was unfortunately just returned. We originally got Lambeau from another shelter a few years ago. He spent a year with us and then was adopted for almost a year, but his owners health declined and she could no longer care for him. Lambeau is the nicest boy and loves everyone he meets. He is very energetic and loves to run around and play. He does know some basic obedience like sit, shake, and lay down. Lambeau does have allergies and gets ear infections on occasions. This happens mainly in the summer and he ends up needing allergy meds and ear meds to get him over it. He is good with other dogs his size, but not good with cats or small dogs. He has a high prey drive when it comes to squirrels and rabbits. His previous owner said he can jump a 4 foot fence and would do best with either a 6 foot fence or a tie out. Lambeau is super treat motivated and very smart! He is neutered, current on vaccines, negative for heartworm, and microchipped.
