Be still my heart…..we have a very special angel. Davis is a sweet sweet boy who has soooooo much love to give. Davis is a 5 year old boy and is ready for his furever family. This boy LOVES big and LOVES hard. He is amazing with children and loves having family around him. Davis will do best in a home as the only pet. He gets jealous of other animals and we have learned he is best alone. He will smother your family with lots of loves, snuggles, and kisses. Davis has worked with our staff on perfecting his manners and he has come a long way. But he does not love the shelter environment. Elsa is approximately 2-3 years old and about 50 pounds. She is deaf but that doesn’t stop her from playing with other dogs and learning commands through sign language. She is very treat motivated and loves to be around people so training comes easy for her. Her food motivation has made her a little protective during feeding time and will need to eat and enjoy bones separate from other animals. She has really enjoyed playing with her foster brothers and has learned a lot from them so having a fur sibling would be good for her, but not required. She likes to chase cats so a home with no feline friends would be best for her. Elsa is very social and has been known to jump a fence to say hi to her neighbors so she will need to be supervised when outside. This sweet girl loves unconditionally and with all of her heart; if you can provide a safe, deaf-friendly home for her please fill out an application today! Kai is strikingly handsome Pittie mix, born 12/31/2022. He was given his name because of his beautiful blue eyes since "Kai" means "ocean" in Hawaiian. Kai is move-in ready: he is house trained, crate trained, and walks well on a leash. He can be trusted not to be destructive of items in the home. He loves playing with toys; however, he is a super chewer so his toys need to be very sturdy. Kai is food-oriented and very smart, which makes training him easy. He still has lots of puppy energy and plays roughly with other dogs, but, he is currently trying to learn to play more politely. When you meet Kai, you will fall in love with his big, happy smile and incredibly soft coat. If Kai seems to be the right dog for you, below is information about adopting him. Luna, a Pitty mix, was on the euthanazia list at an Oklahoma shelter before Bullies-N-Beyond ResQ saved her so that she can become a valued family member of some lucky family. Her birthdate is November 2, 2022. Luna is a sweet, fun-loving girl, who plays well with small dogs and is slowly being acquainted with bigger resident dogs. She truly loves all people, including children. She enjoys playing tug-of-war and playing with toys, which typically means pulling out the stuffing and squeaker. She is somewhat timid around loud noises, such as when kids are playing basketball or volleyball. Luna recognizes her name well and knows how to sit, but is still learning to listen. She enjoys eating and loves treats. She currently weighs about 50 lbs. She is definitely a fun pup! The suggested adoption fee for Luna is $365. ***Courtesy Post*** Blue is a 2 yr old pitbull/boxer mix. She is full of energy, loves to fetch, plays tug of war, and is a real delight. She needs a home where she can be the center of attention. Blue really loves adults and kids but is jealous of other pets getting attention so she needs to be an only pet (at least till she gets some more training).Blue is a sweet silly girl. She is spayed, also microchipped and current on vaccinations. She is house-trained by using either Christmas bells to indicate she needs to go out or she will walk back over to you and stare at you. Also, kennel trained and not possessive with it. Blue does know her basic commands like sit, stay, and quiet but sometimes is stubborn and wants treats. Her favorite is salted peanuts from Costco. Blue's favorite playtime is fetch or tug of war with tennis balls or stuffed animals with a texture like a crinkle material or rubber pieces. She also has this funny habit of running in circles when you try to pet her butt. She is named after the raptor in Jurassic Park because if you are using the bathroom and close the door on her she huffs and makes raptor noises from under the door. A $100 donation is requested at the time of adoption. All of our adoptions are contingent upon an approved application, home visit, reference check. Please do not apply if your plan is to have them as outside dogs, garage dogs, porch dogs or outside kennel dogs. We do not ship dogs. All of our dogs are in private foster homes.
