Story
Introducing Jackson, or as we like to call him, Jack Teller - a true survivor who has overcome countless obstacles in his journey. Imagine finding him at an intersection, abandoned and scared, anxiously waiting for his owners to return. It breaks your heart, doesn't it? But don't worry, this story has a happy ending. Despite his rough start, Jack Teller has blossomed into a remarkable companion. Like any dog, he was initially wary of new faces, but it didn't take long for him to realize that there are kind-hearted souls out there who only want to shower him with love and affection. And boy, did he surprise us all! Jack Teller turned out to be the friendliest pup around, melting hearts left and right with his warm greetings and wagging tail. He's not just good with people, but dogs too - a true social butterfly! Like many of our Tx dogs he is being treated for heartworms. NOTHING to worry about as this is very common here.  We will provide the medication to continue his treatment.   If you're looking for a hiking buddy or simply a furry friend to join you on leisurely strolls, Jack Teller is your guy. He absolutely loves going on walks and exploring the great outdoors. Plus, he's a pro when it comes to crate training. Talk about an all-around good boy! But here's the best part - this gentle soul is a hidden treasure, waiting to be discovered by the perfect forever family. We believe that every dog deserves a loving home, and Jack Teller is no exception. That's why we make regular trips to the Pacific Northwest, including a special stop in Bellingham, WA, just for our Canadian friends. If you're interested in adopting Jack Teller or want to find out more about him, head over to www.springbranchrescue.org. Don't miss out on the chance to welcome this incredible pup into your life. Trust us, it'll be a decision you won't regret. Why should you adopt from a Texas Rescue? Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future from a city that has an animal crisis.  We are heartbroken each day with the many incredible and loving animals found wondering our streets.  So many have been dumped and cannot find their way home.  Many never even had a home and were born on the streets.  WE gave them a chance.  Every animal deserves a chance. We know if adopted by you they will be loved and cared for . We believe in our local and out of state applicants.  There is a reason we drive to the Pacific Northwest every 2 weeks.  You are worth the drive. We have AMAZING adopters and we need more like them.  No matter if you live here in Houston, the Pacific Northwest or Canada we welcome you!  Thank you for considering to adopt and not shop.  If we are in Houston, then how can you see our posts?   Spring Branch Rescue has fosters all over the Pacific Northwest allowing us to post in specific cities. Yes our rescue is in Houston.  Our available animals live with foster families.  This is a win for you as the transition from our home to yours will be a much easier one.  We do have foster homes in your area.  This is why you are able to see our posts.  Unfortunatelly Meet & Greets have been cancelled due to Covid Restrictions.  Almost all our animals traveling have been adopted.  We have been doing this since 2019 and very successful.  Please take a look at our adopters reviews https://greatnonprofits.org/org/spring-branch-rescue ##1714321##

This dog is a courtesy listing (not in the AARF program) but we will be reviewing applications and helping the owner find the right home for BINGO. Please visit http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/adoption-app/ to apply. His adoption is FREE to approved home. Looking for a loyal companion? Meet Bingo! This 2-year-old mix of American Pit Bull Terrier, Australian Cattle Dog, and American Staffordshire Terrier will win your heart with his devotion and playful nature. Weighing in at 40 pounds, Bingo is a medium-sized bundle of joy who loves nothing more than to play fetch and chew on his beloved stuffed toys and Nylabones. Bingo's unique charm shines through in his quirky habits. He absolutely adores ice cubes and will eagerly run to the fridge with you for a treat. He also has a soft spot for pup cups from Starbucks. Despite being mostly deaf, Bingo is a smart cookie and responds well to hand commands like place, sit, down, and stay. He's a graduate of The Dog Wizard of Knoxville, and his training can continue with his new family. Bingo is fully potty trained and will ring bells hanging on the door to let you know when he needs to go out. He's also crate trained, making bedtime and alone time a breeze. Although he enjoys the company of his person, he can be a bit anxious around sudden movements due to his hearing loss. Bingo thrives in a one-person household where he can be the star of the show. Story
❤️ Ludlow is a sweet big baby who wants nothing more than to be your best friend & will steal your heart. He originally came from a kill shelter in GA. Ludlow would do best with an experienced owner who lives an active lifestyle & has empathy, patience, & understanding. He would prefer to be the only pet. He is very gentle with kids of all ages but older children are preferred as he is clumsy with his long legs! ❤️ Ludlow has severe separation anxiety. Because of his anxiety, he needs constant stimulation and something to chew on most of the time. He MUST go to an owner who has the time and patience to get to know him as he was abused in the past: ❤️ Although he may require hard work and patience, he is the sweetest boy and is the BEST cuddle & car buddy! He knows “sit” “stay” and “lie down”. ❤️ I will provide you with his bowls, crate, leash, harness, toys and grooming tools. He is also on Apoquel for allergies and takes this daily.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Kingston has been with us since May 2020. He is my big sweet good boy &#226&#157&#164 He is around 85 pounds and a big goof! He, like alot of our dogs came to us in awful shape. We are not sure what his life before rescue was like but I feel certain based on his condition it was pretty bad. He is timid in New places with new people BUT he warms up and he is sooo good! He is kennel and house trained and has always done well with new dogs coming and going at our house. I do believe he would do best with a female dog and definitely not a dominate dog. He is going on 4 years old now- heartworm negative and current on prevention, neutered, UTD on vaccines, and microchipped. He would do best in a home that isnt real busy as he is unsure of new people. He has NEVER shown any sign of aggression but he is fearful in new situations. He will need his people to be patient and give him time to settle in. He truly deserves a family of his own who will love him forever. He is a cuddler and will lay in bed and watch movies all day, or load up in the car for a ride, he also loves toys. At one time he was scared of toys and didnt even know how to play He is such a good boy. Kingston is in a foster home here in Shreveport, LA. We adopt often to the Northeast. Transport can easily be arranged.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 17, 2024, 2:16 pm
