Story
Coffee is an XL American Bully that comes from breeders One Shot Bullies. He has a great temperament and plays well with other does. He can be a bit rough with dogs but is not aggressive. He is territorial and will bark at unknown people and dogs around the home. He just turned 1 in March and has more room to grow. He's currently 86 pounds. His coat is a chocolate merle. His mom is a ghost tri and his dad is a brown merle as well. Both parents have great temperaments. He has done obedient classes and knows basic commands such as sit, stay, place, down, wait, free, and come. He comes with his papers and breeding documents with an extra fee. There will be pick up only for him.

Story
Meet Harley! Harley is a handsome and muscular fella, estimated to be a 2 yr old Pittie/Boxer mix. The perfect gentleman in his crate, Harley knows how to "chill" and relaxes with the best of them. But when it's time to play, this confident boy is ready for any adventure. He’s a pro on car rides both long and short, and would rock the motorcycle sidecar! Harley is a lover of humans, big and small, but he's very particular about his canine buddies, and requires a slow introduction in a calm, neutral territory before he feels comfortable with any other new doggo. Some become fast friends. Others...not so much. That's just how Harley rolls. Adventurous, affectionate, curious and smart, Harley is fully vaccinated, neutered, microchipped and ready to explore the world with his new family. He loves to cuddle on the couch with his humans after a day of exploration, hikes, games of fetch, or just hanging with his peeps. Interested in adding this handsome, happy young fella to your pack? Submit your no-cost/ no-obligation Adoption Application at www.AlmostHomeDogRescueNC.com and an Adoption Coach will contact you to tell you all about Harley! He is the most special and the sweetest boy you will ever meet! He loves cuddle!! SO much in fact that the first night we adopted him he snuggled into bed with us! He loves getting dressed up in outfits and getting tucked into a soft blanket - he is just an absolute cuddle bug. BUT that’s not to say he doesn’t have lots of energy. Zeus LOVES to play!! Zeus LOVES toys and playing around. His favorite game is tug of war! He absolutely loves being outside and running around. He loves to take walks and explore. He REALLY loves to run around an open field and chase birds! Zeus loves his people and loves so hard! Zeus has a very big personality and is truly a very special dog that will connect with you on a deep level. Zeus is so loyal and clingy and all he wants to do is love and be loved. Although Zeus is full of love he can also be a scaredy cat at times! When we adopted Zeus we were told he came from an abusive household. This can make him skidish, reactive, and anxious at times. Since we have gotten Zeus, he has grown so much. However, he does still struggle with feeling anxious and that can lead to him being reactive. For example: loud noises, yelling, high-fiving or anything that mimics anything aggressive will concern him! For this reason, it is very important that Zeus goes to a home filled with lots of love, understanding, and patience. He longs to feel safe and that is the life we hope and dream someone can provide for him. Due to Zeus’ occasional reactive behavior and anxiety it is best he goes to a home that has experience with dogs and not first time owners. We also do not know how he is around children as he has never been introduced to any. He doesn’t get along with cats. As far as behavior with others dogs, he seems to get along with most dogs. Zeus currently lives in a 1 animal household.Zeus really is an amazing dog and has SO MUCH LOVE to give! Even though he has had a troubled past, he is such a good boy and deserves every good thing in life. Our wish for Zeus is to find him a loving forever home with lots of space for him to run around and explore! If you have patience and are looking for a cuddle companion so full of love with a big personality - Zeus would be the perfect fit!Full disclosure: We are not giving up Zeus because of any of any fault of his own but because of a family emergency we have to move to a country where pitbulls are illegal to have :(. We are heartbroken as Zeus is our baby and deserves every good thing in the world!! We are really hoping someone can give him the happiest life possible! We will travel anywhere!  All Mountain Pet Rescue (Asheville) animals are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro-chipped before adoption. Contact the foster parent or Mountain Pet Rescue at pets@mpravl.org for more information. Please note that visual breed identification of companion animals has been proven to be unreliable, so for most of our animals we provide a best guess at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our animals as an individual and do our best to describe and place pets based on personality not breed label. She’s super-sweet and loves people, but seems to be easily overwhelmed by dogs.  We are unsure how she is with cats. She’s been spayed young, and I made sure to get her medical care. She pulls a bit on the leash at first but calms down and even sits on command. Despite her age, she acts like a huge puppy and is up for anything as long as she has a human with her!Contact me today at slanimallover2@gmail.com to meet or learn more about sweet Molly! Attention: This is a courtesy posting only! This pet is NOT available through Mountain Pet Rescue.  Please do NOT contact MPR for information about the pet or apply to adopt this pet on the MPR website.  Contact Chrissy (321) 684-0545 / frary.christina@gmail.com or Jon (704) 361-6939 / joncharlesdwyer@gmail.com for more information or to adopt the pet.Lily is a senior, 14-year-old, 40 pound pitbull mix, in need of a soft and nurturing home with extra care for her remaining years. Lily brings a sense of comfort to all who meet her. She has a very gentle demeanor (great with children and people with disabilities), is very quiet and only barks if encouraged by other barkers in the house. She has lived with and tolerates all sorts of pets, but prefers a quiet home and can be anxious around high energy animals or humans. When on walks, other dogs who have been described as reactive even seem to get along with her calm personality. Lily (nicknames are 'Bit' and 'Pig') has been house-trained since a young puppy and can be left unsupervised at home while you're away! However, she is just as food motivated now as she was then. She may want to try your snacks, flavored medicines or stinky kitchen trash if left out - her only "naughty" habit. She would love to live with someone who works from home or is retired to give her lots of consistent company - she prefers routine and familiar faces nowadays. Her old age has recently been a learning curve, but certainly not a burden. An accessible home and fenced yard is a must! She is not as nimble as she once was - she stumbles easily, is unable to climb stairs and will wander if given the opportunity to roam. This past year she has been showing signs of Dog Dementia, specifically pacing in the middle of the night (sundowning), moments of disorientation and non-response to name calling. She is a new patient to Trazodone which has helped her sleep through the night and get through anxious days. She just completed her annual senior exam this month with no detrimental health updates! Her doctor says she simply needs extra love and attention. An easy order for an old girl who just likes to eat, sleep and snuggle. Why are we rehoming? After relocating several times these past 3 years, it's in both of our best interest to give her a secure, permanent furever home with a compatible lifestyle. Lily has been my one and only girl since she was a puppy. With her old age, vet bills and becoming more disoriented with every uproot, I want to be sure she has only one more loving transition. No fosters please, looking for a lasting adoption. Please contact Chrissy (321) 684-0545 / frary.christina@gmail.com or Jon (704) 361-6939 / joncharlesdwyer@gmail.com for further questions or to arrange a meet.  All Mountain Pet Rescue (Asheville) animals are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro-chipped before adoption.
