Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Playful, goofy and friendly 1 year old male pit mix. Meet Simon, a lovable, friendly and playful goofball who loves humans, gets along with other dogs, is housebroken, and has loads of personality. He will do well in a home that can give him all the love he deserves, and would love to have a sister dog buddy. He likes to play fetch and tug with his toys, and thinks he's a big lap dog and will crawl in your lap with his toy and flip over for belly rubs. He's well mannered in the house and will quietly chew on his treat while his humans relax, but he does get lonely and will bark and chew when left alone.  He is still very much a puppy at heart and still learning his manners, but is housebroken and walks well on leash and has learned to Sit for treats! Simon would do well in a home where he can have a female dog buddy, or a human companion who can spend time playing with him, go on daily walks to explore, and have a secure fenced yard to play in. He is probably not suitable for small children or cats, because of his size and playful nature, but he gets along well with female dogs. Simon is fully vaccinated, sterilized, healthy and ready to find his forever humans! Simon is currently being fostered in La Paz, BCS, but is available for video meet and greets and can be transported anywhere on the US West Coast or Canada. Be sure to watch the video below of Simon to get a feel for his goofy personality! Story
Imani May is a 3-year-old American Bully, born on 9/11/2020, spayed, approx. 45lbs. and current on all her vaccines. She’s an affectionate, active, and playful companion who loves cuddles, running, swimming, and exploring the outdoors. She’s housebroken, kennel trained, and non-destructive, making her a well-behaved addition to any home. Imani requires a home where she’s the ONLY pet, and her new owners must be able to provide a stable home (no renters). She’s heat-sensitive and needs to be indoors to stay comfortable. Imani has a fused disc in her sacrum, requiring daily pain management and once a year blood draw to monitor liver and kidney function for meds, and is on a raw diet with a daily dose of Cosequin for joints. All of Imani’s medical records will be provided. She would thrive in a loving, stable environment with a single person or couple who live and active lifestyle. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion, Imani May is ready to bring joy into your life.

Story
Denise came from a bit of a rough start not knowing much about humans. She has been with us now since she was about 4 months old. While she was a happy and social pup, the uncertainty and isolating shelter life has made her grow to be very timid with strangers.  Denise does well with most other dogs and seems to gain more confidence when having a social canine companion to show her the ropes. She was even exposed to cats at a young age so she may do well with some feline friends as well. We would recommend she go to a home with one or more other dogs to teach her that humans aren't so scary.  If you would like to give this sweet, timid young girl a shot at living a normal life, come to the ranch to meet her today! Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. While they are with us, each and every rescue dog receives the best of care in a loving and nurturing environment. Their routines include daily playgroups or partnering with dog buddies, quality time walking or being groomed, and two meals a day with dog biscuits for dessert. All of our dogs receive the best in veterinary care and are spay/neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and fully vaccinated.  The standard adoption donation fee for all dogs and puppies is $300 (unless a reduced fee applies )  APPLY NOW       August 18, 2024, 7:34 pm

Story
Ella is an extra-special girl! She is spunky, goofy, determined, and very affectionate. She loves her toys, special treats, as well as playing in water! She even does a very cute happy dance around her favorite things! How cute is that? She has had some positive experiences with other dogs so she may do well with the right canine companion! Little Ella came to us as a young pup who had clearly already had a tough start to life. She had been surrendered to us because the family couldn't afford her vet bills after she suffered a prolapse. This young girl was pretty shut down when she first arrived but once she got comfortable and showed her silly, playful side we could see she was extra special! We don't quite know what the clinical diagnosis would be, but Miss Ella is definitely neuro-diverse. She doesn't have the same attention span as your typical dog and she tends to bounce around and move her head in figure 8's.  Ella has certain long-term fears and boundaries that would make her best suited to a family with people who will respect her and take their time with her. She is filled to the brim with love and joy for life, she just needs the right person to come along and take her to paradise! Are you looking for an extra-special dog to be your couch or walking partner? Then call the Ranch to meet Miss Ella today! Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog.
