Due to his past, this sweet boy can be unsure of new people but is eager to please and loves to play, run, and get belly rubs! He can be pretty strong on the leash, so he is looking for a strong handler who is willing to work on training with him. He'd prefer an active home where he can receive plenty of exercise, love, and enrichment. Eros is open to meeting other medium/large high energy dogs who can be tolerant of his need to play, play play! Minnie came to us after we received a phone call from The Danville Police Department who were needing assistance with a dog that had been found by a member of the public in pretty rough shape and obvious distress. It is believed that she was very likely hit by a car, leaving her with some trauma to her head and to her rear/ back legs. Minnie is estimated to be 7 years old with the happiest little snorts and cutest little wobble to her walk, that is sure to just make your heart happy when you see it. She has been enjoying going on her daily walks around the property, playing with her toys, but especially loves getting all the attention and love she's been looking for. Minnie seems to do well with other dogs and although, she may be a little timid at first, she is social with people (but would be best in a home with older children). A meet and greet would be required at our shelter for any potential canine siblings. Minnie is spayed, microchipped & up to date on all her vaccinations. Meet Durki! He came from a kill shelter in Ga and was about to be euthanized only for space. He is a sweet boy . He weighs 50 lbs and is 4 years old. We are not sure he is cat friendly or not. He was questionable when cat tested. He is good with people and kids. We are not sure if he is housetrained because he has only been sheltered since Ga.
