Needs special attention,
Story
Rosco is a gentle canine who may seem shy at first, but his love for food quickly breaks the ice. With a penchant for treats, he becomes a fast friend to anyone willing to offer a snack. His sensitive stomach prefers a grain-free diet, as other foods have caused him digestive issues in the past. Once comfortable and well-fed, Rosco blossoms into a loyal and affectionate companion.

Story
Now accepting applications for Lillie! Lillie is a 1 1/2 year old spayed female Dalmatian/Pitbull/Mastiff. If you are interested in meeting Lillie please go to our website at www.mjhs.ca and click on the Adopt tab, then Adoptable Animals and scroll to her beautiful face to submit your application. Once your application has been approved we will contact you to come spend some time with Lillie to be sure she is the right fit for you. If after meeting her you decide she is not the dog for you, there is no obligation to complete the adoption process. We look forward to hearing from you! Lillie's mama loved her very much and gave Lillie a solid start, but circumstances would not allow her to keep Lillie. Lillie is a very smart, energetic girl who can sit, lay down, give "paws" (double high five), and stay on command. Lillie was never kennel trained and is working through some separation anxiety. Lillie is young enough to learn that kennels are a safe place and would do best with a patient family willing to help her realize that spending time away from your humans is okay. If you are willing to give her a chance, Lillie will thank you with that million dollar smile every day! Lillie's adoption fee is $300, she is spayed, started on her vaccination schedule and microchipped. Can't adopt Lillie yourself but still want to help? You can make a donation toward her care by clicking the following link and by sharing her post. Thank you for your support! https://checkout.shelterluv.com/donate/mjaw

Story
Introducing Moose: The Resilient Warrior Meet Moose, the indomitable spirit who found his way into our hearts despite facing adversity. When Moose arrived, he bore the scars of his past, with wounds marking his journey and rendering his right hind leg unusable. But through it all, Moose's playful spirit shone brightly, a testament to his resilience and inner strength. Despite his physical challenges, Moose approaches life with unwavering determination and an infectious energy that knows no bounds. While he may not move like other dogs, Moose has mastered the art of tug-o-war, using his boundless enthusiasm and sheer determination to engage in spirited battles with his favorite toys. But Moose's journey is about more than just playfulness; it's a story of triumph over adversity and the power of resilience. Despite the obstacles he's faced, Moose refuses to let his circumstances define him, reminding us all of the incredible strength that lies within each of us. In Moose, we've found not just a pet, but a source of inspiration and hope. His playful antics and unwavering spirit serve as a reminder to embrace life's challenges with courage and determination, knowing that with resilience, anything is possible. As Moose continues to weave his way into our hearts, we're grateful for the lessons he teaches us every day about the true meaning of strength and perseverance.
