This dog is a courtesy listing (not in the AARF program) but we will be reviewing applications and helping the owner find the right home for BINGO. Please visit http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/adoption-app/ to apply. His adoption is FREE to approved home. Looking for a loyal companion? Meet Bingo! This 2-year-old mix of American Pit Bull Terrier, Australian Cattle Dog, and American Staffordshire Terrier will win your heart with his devotion and playful nature. Weighing in at 40 pounds, Bingo is a medium-sized bundle of joy who loves nothing more than to play fetch and chew on his beloved stuffed toys and Nylabones. Bingo's unique charm shines through in his quirky habits. He absolutely adores ice cubes and will eagerly run to the fridge with you for a treat. He also has a soft spot for pup cups from Starbucks. Despite being mostly deaf, Bingo is a smart cookie and responds well to hand commands like place, sit, down, and stay. He's a graduate of The Dog Wizard of Knoxville, and his training can continue with his new family. Bingo is fully potty trained and will ring bells hanging on the door to let you know when he needs to go out. He's also crate trained, making bedtime and alone time a breeze. Although he enjoys the company of his person, he can be a bit anxious around sudden movements due to his hearing loss. Bingo thrives in a one-person household where he can be the star of the show. If you're ready for a sweet, smart, and devoted companion who will bring joy and excitement into your life, Bingo is the perfect match for you. Story
This dog is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $0 - WAIVED if picked up in TN If you’re looking for a fun-loving, energetic, and highly motivated pup to be your loyal sidekick, Lottie might just be your perfect match! This 11-month-old, 40-pound American Pit Bull Terrier is an absolute toy fanatic—she could play fetch all day long if you let her! She’s also incredibly food- and toy-motivated, making her a fantastic candidate for further training and enrichment activities. Lottie is as sweet as she is playful. When she’s finally ready to rest after a full day of fun, she has the most adorable habit of laying upside down on the couch next to you.. She’s already mastered basic commands like Sit, Down, Stay, and Crate, and she’s doing well with her housetraining when kept on a consistent schedule. She’s also crate-trained and enjoys working for treats while learning new tricks! Lottie had a tough start to life, arriving in rescue as a puppy with two broken front legs. Because of this, she has some quirks and special needs we would discuss with any interested families. You’d never know it now—she’s made a full recovery and runs like the wind! She absolutely loves to play with other dog (once she knows them), though her rough-and-tumble play style is not for everyone. While Lottie is leary of new people and dogs at first, she thrives in a calm, environment with a patient owner who will continue to build her confidence. Her ideal home would be in a rural setting with plenty of space to run, explore, and burn off her energy. She would love a home where she can be the center of attention as the only pet and have lots of daily interaction with her person. If you’re an activ, and experienced dog owner looking for a devoted companion who will bring endless joy, laughter, and playfulness into your life, Lottie is waiting to meet you! Apply today and make this lovable, toy-obsessed sweetheart a part of your family!  Interested in adopting? Macy is a loving 2.5-year-old, 41 pound Pit Bull Terrier mix who’s ready to find her forever home! With her medium energy level, she enjoys playing with other dogs, snuggling up for tummy rubs, and going on outdoor adventures. Macy adores playing with other dogs and will even take on a motherly role with them. She's adventure-ready! Whether that's hiking or a nice walk, Macy is happy to tag along. Story
Meet Sasha, Sasha was a rescue from under a house in Hartsville Tn. She had been roaming the streets and being fed by multiple people until she decided to have her 8 puppies under a porch. Sasha was one of the lucky ones and was taken into foster and was a wonderful mother. She was very cautious in the beginning protecting her babies. Sasha loves to play but would do best in a home where the other dogs are not overpowering to her. She will let the other dog know when she has had enough. She likes to take walks and does well on a leash. She loves her toys and loves to eat. Sasha would be best with older children. She might be a little shy at first but warms up quickly. She loves to get in your lap and just be loved on. If you are a looking for a companion to walk with and just hang out with meet Sasha. I have a lot of video and would be glad to send it so you can see her. She seems to be more comfortable with women but is fine with the foster’s husband but it took a little bit. Sasha is up to date on vaccines, heart worm negative and on preventions for heart worm and flea and tick and is micro chipped. She is spayed and approximately 50 lbs and 3 years old. Sasha is currently located in Tennessee and the adoption fee is $150. Transportation may be available to out of state adopters for an additional cost depending on the area. The first step in our process is submitting the application. We are happy to set up a meet and greet once an application has been approved. If you would like to adopt Sasha please fill out our online adoption application at http://safehaventn.com/ .
